Do you buy anything for a chick when you pick them up on a first date?

Last chick I dated I bought her a stuffed horse animal since she mentioned something about horses when we were talking. Ended up being that her favorite animal was actually a monkey. But I always tended to get something small for first dates. Flowers, stuffed something, box of cannolis, etc.

Not sheriff troll thread or whatever but no. Never. Not once.

HOWVER i will always buy their drink/s if i invite them out for drinks (which i always do unless they're legit wanting to come to my house to meet me, of which i always offer wine and pool as i have a table and buy wine. works quite well).


the most recent time i bought food/dinner for a sloot i met on first date, she absolutely dipped out right after. coulda been here, whatever, dont care, but for all I KNOW, it's silly and never works. not first 'date'. i wait till at least 1-2+ smashes and 2-3 dates, at least, before i will even consider inviting and/or grabbing the meal. $ is no issue fwiw. but as far as slaying and really just common sense, ya.

What u do is develop a connection with her over the first two/three dates, by date three she will be looking for a sign that ur legit interested n like her. Do something cute like that on date 3 or 4 and it will mean a lot to her. It’ll give her that reassurance that lots of girls (and guys) need when they first start dating someone.
