A quick search on realtor.com shows there are homes under 200K in Denver. I amended the price to 400K+ and homes in the 400s are usually 4 bed 3 bath. 2K + Square foot. Threads like this are stupid. If the median home value is 400K people are either over-buying or they are just high earners buying a big house.



Furthermore like 30 miles out-side of Denver there are lots of affordable/decent homes. I'm sorry but if your poor and want to live in a decent home you just might have to drive 20 minutes to get to a major city.

bought it 2 years ago for ~$340k and zestimate puts it around $390k now. But I think technically i'm in Phoenix, north phoenix right next to Scottsdale. But PHX is massive and tons of chit areas in it so Scottsdale is more accurate in my situation anyway. plus there's a lot of fking mansions and crazy sick houses in certain parts of the 'dale so that obv fux with averages.

They look middle class to me. I admit decent houses are in the upper 200s close to 300k. But I'd live in these houses. Just an example.

anyway ya he and his wife made a business and posted all about it and live great and their hotel's a success. mexico's hyooge just find a beach like the one they're on looks. heard good things about nightlife and fun etc in Mexico City.

check some airbnbs around the areas that interest you and specifically search for 1+ month at least because most hosts on airbnb for any destinations offer significant discounts if you book for a month or more at a time, since they don't have to worry about vacancy and prepping for new people every few days etc. and airbnb you pay the 'tourist tax' and it's still crazy fair, go there for a month, find a place from a local and pay a lot less even.
