It is.

There is no evolutionary need for females to be incredibly smart and thus their average IQ curve is much more clustered around the average. Men on the other hand grossly make up the majority on BOTH extreme ends: not only on the "genius" end, but on the "complete idiot" end as well.

I mean I think you're right - you're born a genius or not. But I think the point is that, men aren't choosing women to procreate with based on their intelligence, or things related to their intelligence. Women DO choose men to procreate with based on their intelligence (or things related to it).

The reason is because men have more outliers in both directions. Women tend to cluster at the top of the bell curve.

1. Women are naturally more social than men. Their energy goes into that. It's great because it helps maintain the community.
2. Men are more aggressive. This bleeds into their drive to sink their into something and not let go. (Talent is a measure of your level of interest. Genius is a measure of how hard you work.) ... and a few other factors.

I've actually never taken an IQ test. They weren't used in my school district.

Idk how intelligence in the statistic measured? Being socially intelligent is part of IQ also. I’ve had my IQ tested by a professional and it was high but I don’t think I am part of a 3%

People have already mentioned the IQ distribution bell curve with women being in the median and men being more likely on the outliers. But why? I don't know for sure but I would have to guess it has to do with genetics and evolution. What sort of special ability do women have that men do not? They are able to give birth. I suspect it has to do with that in some way.
