Good physical fitness, good hygiene/grooming, and a decent sense of fashion will go a long ways towards improving one's looks. And some very basic personality traits/hobbies. For example:

Guy A - is 6'3", has a slightly above average face, and full thick head of hair. Maybe has facial hair, maybe he doesn't. He is highly charismatic extrovert and tends to be a people magnet who makes people laugh often. His hygiene is average and he dresses like a hipster. He is a skinny fat sedentary couch potato who would rather watch movies, play video games, and waste time online all day than getting out and doing something more often than not. He is also not a particularly assertive man and leaves a lot of decison making up to the women he dates/attempts to date.

Guy B - is 5'8", has an average face, is bald (with decent head shape and cleanly shaved) with good facial hair. He's not super charismatic and is introverted, but is charming to the select people he actually gets to know on a deeper level. He has a solid natty lifting/HITT cardio based physique with great hygiene and solid fashion sense/dresses like an actual grown man.


Guy A probably has a bigger social circle/circles and impresses more people in general than guy B in this hypotherical scenario. But you're delusional if you think that the skinnyfat hipster tall guy with good hair and a seemingly superior personality socially is going to pull more than the short bald brah with great physical fitness who is well put together, yet doesn't have a completely worthless personality.
