I work out in the 'normie' (athletes have their own facility) gym on a university campus and I have yet to see a single person, besides me, un-rack the 100s.

I've seen numerous people using the 90s, but it's almost like a lot of people are intimated because it's a 3 digit number. I'm POSITIVE some of the guys I have seen could pump out a set with them, but they just don't.

Funnily, I've had several people stop and watch me do my sets with them and they stare at me with a look on their faces like they expect me to completely fail or have terrible form, but I always man-handle them with ease and commonly get a silent nod of approval from the skeptics.

I really have no idea what my max working set is with DBs because there's nothing over 100, but today I was able to complete 4x12 and only the last 4 reps of the final set were a struggle.

Any ideas of what I might be able to rep x8? 120?

I actually have experience going from a gym that had 100's to max was 140.

I was doing 100s for 12 too but I went up to 110 for 9. Also depends on strength of front delts so you don't rip something
