Anytime you draw a gun on somone you should do so 100% ready to kill them if necessary. It’s not a magic key to getting people’s money where if it doesn’t work those people get to live. That robber was threatening everyone’s life if he didn’t get his way. What if there wasn’t enough cash to satisfy him? What if somone looked at him wrong or moved funny? Everyone else’s life in that room was in danger of death from the robbers actions. A very justified response to your life being threatened and being placed in the hands of a unstable robber is to end his life before he takes yours.

If people can’t deal with the consequences of pulling a gun on somone they shouldn’t have a gun. Even for thieves there are other ways of robbing places besides threatening everyone else’s life in the store with a gun, if you go that route you better be hard and evil enough to kill everyone and go on the run, if your gonna let the people whose life you threatened draw on you without shooting them you are a soft ass bitch in way over your head and gonna taste the consequences of the situation you put yourself in.
