I watched a doc on this and it made me extremely uncomfortable just watching the very beginning "intro phase" where the haunted house owner took a reporter, put them in a straight jacket, blindfolded them and put a device in their mouth keeping their mouth open non stop. The reporter couldnt go on and they hadn't even entered the haunted house yet. The owner does it for free too, i'm pretty sure he enjoys it immensely.
