Seems to be running pretty good. The BCM comp is nothing. Not loud at all. Think I need a heavier buffer based on ejection but runs pretty smooth. Time for an optic.

Win's a win. Can't always have the win be against undefeated #2 (their only loss on the season) like we had last year. Gotta take what you can get (if you can get anything)

I dunno if this SOB condom holster is going to work. It’s so tight. I need a magnum size.
Shrek has a video on YouTube where he says to wrap the gun in Saran Wrap and put it in the holster for a day to loosen up the retention but I’ve don’t that for 2 days now and no bueno.

The 100 yd line:

The 300/750 yd line. You can see the second set of targets above the set of targets from the 100 yd line:

Targets at 750/1000 yds. We also hung balloons out there, but only 2 of the 6 students were able to hit them. Myself and the other guy each took 3. The guy shooting some kind of 50BMG bolt action monstrosity broke the chain on the gong while we were at 1k.

550/1000 yd line:

The dueling tree from the 100 yd line made a reappearance here now at 550 yds, as another shooter and I played at knocking them back and forth. The guys shooting 65 had a major advantage over the guys shooting 308 (not surprising). Sig's loaners were .308, but the guys who brought their own were shooting 6.5CM (or the 50).
It was a lot of fun, and the ProShop up there is pretty cool. I'm definitely looking forward to taking another class.
If you open the images in imgur you can see the targets in the distance and see their size. Great day overall, and I'm glad that I kept my power dialed back I did almost all of my shooting at 10x inside of 500 and then used 16x for the longer distances. Also got a great coaching tip about staying down on the rifle and racking the next round while down on the gun, which I think improved my consistency for follow through. I have no idea why I was lifting my head after the shot to run the bolt.

I was just out there Wednesday and Thursday for Master Pistol Instructor. I think that makes 30 courses I've had there and I can't recommend them enough. I know Sig gets a lot of hate on here but the academy is the real deal. The VP of the academy is a Team 6 guy, we have current reserve SF guys that were active for years, SWAT leads with 20 years in, all kinds of experience across military and law enforcement. They get so many resumes from all over that it's extremely selective.

Digging the AWS inner/outer belt system (light assaulter belt).
It's obviously not for concealed carry. I wear the inner belt on days I can't carry. If I want to run some drills when I get home, just slap the outer belt over the inner and it velcros in place. Nice to have all of your stuff together in one place and not have to dick around with the placement every time or threading your stuff through your belt loops.
