I've been seeing this a lot lately....

Mostly thin guys with fully obese girls. Its mostly younger guys so I'm guessing they're just used to seeing fatties throughout their life and don't think much of it.

It makes me sad but maybe standards have just collapsed in the last 10 years or so?

This. A lot of men actually end up with women that are less attractive, but actually enjoyable to be around.

I'd much rather be with someone I enjoy my time with vs. just for the fact they're a bombshell.

Yes I get your point. Dating way down is interesting. I typically have been with women near me or above me, somehow. But personally there are so many factors involved in it. There are some women I find oddly attractive that most would say isn't. Or maybe the woman checks all the other boxes the man is looking for in a relationship, and might still find her attractive even if she's like a 4/10 while he's a 7-8/10.
