Owned a RV4 with clipped wings and constant speed prop w/TSIO360 for a couple years. Was lethal. Wore a parachute every time I flew it. Had the spar reinforced as well.

Definitely airplanes over cars. Wife was happy when I sold it.

Expensive and not worth it where I live. Chitty roads and mountains everywhere. Rather just drive a beater or a truck and leave my interest at that.

i've lost so much money with cars I literally dont give a .... about them anymore. I still have 5 mistakes in storage or garage but only ever drive my new jeep.

I understand where you are coming from OP, I’m one one them. When I was younger all my friends would be talking about their favorite muscle car or what they were gonna do to their car but I never really cared. I did question myself as to why. I drive a **** ton in my 2015 Honda Accord that I have never worked on or made any modifications. I might buy a new car in 2 or 3 years.

Im only interested in the utility. Box trucks, daily driver eco-boxes, trucks, camper vans etc. Theres also the mog aspect but I only see a car as a mogmobile if its not easily attainable. Few people can finance a lambo, almost everyone can finance a mustang or charger. For me its either utility or mog, anything in between is just a waste, and the mogging would probably get old extremely quick.

Car gets you A to B and thats it. Spesh here in Aus you even think about going over the speed limit and youll get fked dry by the police so its not even worth having a powerful/sick car for daily

I prefer bycyles and how timeless and everlasting they are, especially they steel ones, they will last a lifetime.

I like cars and vehicles but they don't grab me like push bikes do.

My city is amazing for cycling.

Do it. Had one or several since I was eight. First time you put it to the bar on some hard pack....man. you hold the fuk on, or your coming off.

A few of my 800s would get up over 125 mph, and get there in a blink. Doing that speed on ice is a rush. That and the freedom of taking off powder riding. Let's just say I'm glad it's fall, not spring lol

I've been obsessed with cars, bikes, trucks, jeeps, etc my entire life. I could probably retire or have a paid off house with all the money i've blown. Guys that never get into it are lucky. With that being said, everyone has their own thing. I personally don't understand *******s that waste their entire lives gushing over sports that they don't even play. I see guys playing fantasy this and that, developing a man cave around their sports teams. Not that it's wrong, i just don't get it and never will. Different strokes.

I'd take a Helicopter over a car. Airplane? Maybe. But you still need land and both are very expensive maintenance wise, helicopters are crazy expensive

I am personally not much into cars though some old school muscle cars indeed look cool.

I think some car fans can be really cringeworthy. Those dudes , who will stand next to some stranger's car and take fotos with their Iphone cause it's some Lamborghini. Or those guys, who meet up with their friends at some parking lot to pose with their cars. Or the muslim guys here, who rent super expensive cars, whenever there are weddings etc.

I love cars, but I am at a point in my life where I gotta get my family and finances in order before I can get back into the car scene. I do plan on buying a weekend car in the future and have some fun with it.

When I was single... I was blowing all my money on cars. Most younger car guys I know are living paycheck to paycheck. I think the majority of them do. I dont want to live that way again, its stressful then you gotta worry about the inevitable failure of something you installed.

It's sort of like computers...most people just use them without overthinking it. But some people are SUPER into them, taking them apart, building their own, etc...but cars is a more expensive habit.

I'm pretty much the former...I like cars, enjoy driving, but don't get super into the nitty gritty details.

I do like them but don't know as much as I want about them. I'd like to buy a project car one day and fix it up and learn along the way. Just don't have the space or money to do it. So I drive a corolla for now.

lol not sure why all you goobers in this thread are equating being into cars with wasting a grip of money on cars.

You can appreciate cars in poverty while driving a chitbox, and admire nice ones without spending thousands on modding your own car. You can also appreciate cars with wealth, and build/buy the exact car you want. LMAO @ the people saying there is nothing exciting about street legal cars. Street legal cars in the modern era have never been more exciting, whether aesthetics or performance.

Cars are a form of freedom, just like bikers will tell you motorcycles are too. Sure, not to the same extent as bikes, but fuk if there isn't something liberating about running a nice sounding and performing engine to redline as you go through the gears. And LMAO @ saying car guys can't even work a clutch on a bike. Motorcycle clutches are wet, and supremely easier to use than a car clutch, if you have any idea how to ride a bike.

Grand National... not a Cutless Supreme..

Always wanted one... bought one... catted around town in it for about 8 months and sold it for $4k more than what I paid for it. Love the lines of the car... love that you dont see them around very often... performance wise it left me wanting a lot more. I even made a few tastful mods to help this along but making any kind of real HP with those cost a lot of money... but its still cool


And I hate to generalize all "young people" as I am sure there are exceptions to this everywhere... but most young people dont want to fkn work for anything... they would rather have it handed to them and get offended when it doesn't happen.

You learn to read the snow. Generally the snow makes things pretty soft, and you can still see the bumps indicating a rock. We have nothing but solid bedrock and boulders here, but to be safe, learn how the machine feels on a lake. A lot more interaction with an uneven surface to learn. Kind of like, hold on loosely, but dont let go.

Dream car

My dream car is the Mercedes AMG Hammer, but that's not practical. Would make a Replica using a 1985 300e.



I'd engine swap in a M156, would be faster than 99% cars on the road stock. With a few mods should be able to run low 11s all motor. That's the dream.

I get a massive hard on for old Civics and Integras. Type Rs, Spoon/Mugen, RHD, Rare JDM goodies, Hnmmgggggggggg.....in championship white of course.

Used to have K20Z1 swapped EK, tuned with Hondata. So much fun, until it was stolen. Never modified or bought another one, just lust from afar.
