Day three in woods.

Heard snorting in the woods, see back half of deer. Deer moves forward, point scope to the next clear spot, but the deer had settled.

Kept hearing the deer, but it never came in the clear.

Forgive me for asking such a broad question, but does anyone have recommendations for a 9mm semi? I have an XD9 and I like it although it has shortcomings. I don't want a glock even though I think they are great pistols. I really want a p320, but I live in California so that is off the table. I would prefer a striker fire versus hammer, but I wouldn't rule hammer fired out completely for something like a p226 or similar.

It was cool to hear him snorting like a horse. (Didn't see front half but FIL thinks buck based on behavior.

Tyler Brown was a cop on a joke, small-village police force (responsible for less than 600 residents) who got elected over a far more expeirenced candidate in a huge county . . . basically because that seat got reworked to bring in a good chunk of Aurora (highly blue) and he ran as a dem. He's a dolt and a progressive. He was actually rejected to be a deputy for the dept he's now the sheriff for.

i been hunting with my dad seen 7 coues deer bucks yesterday and 0 today but no shooters. full moon wreaked havoc today on movement i think.

Usually deer blow when they wind someone.



Spent the full moon night looking for coyotes. FWIW deer brahs, didn't see any deer movement at all. It was warm today though so that could be a contributing factor.
