I know you care deeply about your cats but your human family should come first, always no exceptions. Your wife probably feels like they are more important to you than her. If they aren't more important than your wife you should take steps to make sure she knows you feel this way and if they are then you are wasting your time being in this marriage because it isn't salvageable

Not at all. Neither of us have ever even been physically confrontational toward the other, much less abusive.

Basically he asked why we were there. The next hour involved us both explaining how mad we were at the other person. At the end he said "I'm sorry, I have to stop you.... why are you here? It doesn't sound like either of you want to be married or to attempt to fix this?" I explained we don't want to be divorced but do pretty much hate each other. He told us he wasn't going to be able to help.

Honestly, if you need to hire an actual house cleaner for regular, you either have a huge family with 5+ kids or are just lazy as chit. This is coming from someone who grew up with parents who hired out house cleaning for a good few years.

Literally all you need to do as far as basic cleaning goes is pick up/clean up after yourself and run a vacuum through the place at least once a week. You'd be shocked at how far that can go. You can vacuum all kinds of stuff people never seem to think of - use it as a duster, srs. Much easier than spreading it around with dusting devices for the most part.

Then again, having double digit cats in the house doomed you from the start. Keeping any more than 3 of those, absolute tops, indoors is grounds to question someone's sanity. It's clear you are mentally unwell for having like 12 or whatever, not to mention multiple of them having special needs on top of that. Get rid of all but 3 of them at most and never get special needs pets unless the ones you have end up with said issues, or you are extremely well equipped to handle the extra messes. I've seen people adopt dogs with special needs from abuse and chit, and it's very sad, but man they can piss/dirty up a place real fast. You clearly aren't in a position to handle these things.
