Every discussion forum ends up dominated by people with no interest in the actual topic of the forum. Those interested in that topic wander off, leaving just the shtposting. But shtposters can shtpost anywhere.

i mean Reddit is the most influential website on the damn internet lol. (aside stuff like google and youtube). Message boards aint dead, they are just all lumped up in reddit

i miss those IMDB boards a ton always had interesting info on super obscure actors and a lot of time the actor themself would post on it.
