Emisar, lol. Yeah I have one of those (D4, Nichia 219C 5k 90CRI), but, the cool-guy UI is not necessarily EDC practical and it eats batteries like nobody's business...also gets really hotreallyfast if you run it full out.

This time of year (heavier fabric pants support more pocket bulk much more comfortably than light summer shorts...and it's dark a lot longer) I carry a 1x18650 Zebralight. My newest one is an SC63 I believe. Or sometimes an Olight SR1 Baton II

Zebralights are really good. They get a lot of performance out of any given battery, are very small and short for the battery type thanks to the side switch, really cool useful every day lighting use UI, and outstanding thermal regulation with real world usability to the battery life. They are not a "tactical" light, but, that's not what I carry a flashlight for. I carry it for dropping things or just looking at **** where it's dark etc I'm not carrying a light to tactically blind somebody in a dark alley lol ain't nobody got time for that. Though it could be used for that too, it does it all! Just not on a momentary switch which is what you'd really want for that and running a zebralight under stress like that...with that UI...would be lulz

Fenix LD12. Runs on 14500s or AAs, so is easy to scrounge batteries.

older WASRs had poor quality control but the newer ones are much better quality. dont know much about PSA AKs, but if you get a WASR thats correctly assembled it will last a very long time.
