As much as the Ed Brown looks like AIDS and they're putting a bunch of useless **** on it that is driving the price up, I'd say it's more gun for the money than Agency just because I'm sure they're also using an Apex barrel, which is far superior to Agency's barrel which they pay about $75 for from Azimuth in Florida, then jack the price up 3-4X cost.

Ed Brown put their own frame rails in too so they can fit the slide to the frame and then the barrel to the slide. So there’s probably some actual legit gunsmithing in it unlike the agency.

Anyone have a suggestion for a single serving of coffee in the morning that isn't a Keurig? (Seen too many pics of those things absolutely disgusting on the insides and can't really be cleaned adequately.) Was doing cold brew for a while and it worked out well, but kind of just want to go back to a nice, hot cup now that cooler weather is here.

Just get a Technivorm mochaMaster and a grinder and make your own. Doesn’t take too much more time.

I have one and also a Keurig but still use the keurig a lot too. I just run vinegar through it once in a while, although there were a ton of ants in my water container the other day. Don’t know how or why but I’m hesitant to use it again because there’s probably ants trapped in the machine.

If you like your coffee really stronk, I like to use a moka pot. Downside is you need espresso grind, so you either need a pretty decent grinder, of you have to buy the can of preground espresso stuff.

Another option I've been thinking of is a simple pour over maker and a way to heat the water - electric kettle if you want more control over it, or just a pot to boil if you DGAF.

Just go to Kohl's or Bed Bath & Beyond or whatever (or Amazon) and buy a single cup normal coffee maker. Doesn't take very long to brew a "pot" that small. Get a bag of ground coffee at Sam's or Costco and call it a day.

They aren’t that bad for something you use everyday. But it’s somewhat of a manual process to do it right so kinda defeats being as easy as possible.

What about a nespresso machine?

There have been some posting a-ha moments and saying they 'get it' for the first time.

Do some self education on what's happening, share it, and plant that seed.

This is, for one thing, a great example of why the "drrr but tanks and fighter jets" are so wrong. These atrocities aren't being commited by fighter jets, nukes, submarines, or even tanks. Boots on the ground going to people's houses, arresting anybody they want, Epstein'ing countless, filing some back to China literally in rail cars...big scary machines aren't doing any of this. People on the ground an in range are.

thanks, i put alot of effort into getting a deep stain on it. took about a week for both of those putting more and more coats on before i finally sealed with polyurethane. draco furniture was a mix of red food coloring and dark stain, WASR was mostly stain with a little red food coloring.

kinda wish the WASR came out more red but its acceptable. I will be buying some nice red stain AKM furniture for the saiga 7.62x39. unsure what to do with my arsenal sam7r

It does have a solid basis, though. Assuming you set it up so that you are starting with a loaded double action only revolver (or a DA/SA with strict instructions not to ever cock the hammer to SA), it's as KISS in operation as you can get.

Pull the trigger, it fires. Don't, it won't. And you can't "limp wrist" it or block the slide with your hand (slide bite) or thumb against it and cause a malfunction, etc. For any person who you expect to go to the range one time and that's it for literally the next year or decade or whatever...a revolver makes a ton of sense.

You also don't need hand or grip strength to swing the cylinder in and out, a lot of woman can't reliable rack the slide on a semi auto, so when they do induce a malfunction they are completely ****ed.

I think the S&W .380 EZ is on the right track as an alternative
