Smart move to go all in with that look. It's not a F-150 killer so to speak. It's marketed to the exact opposite demographic than your stereotypical loyal ford pickup consumer. No matter what Elon does, as long as it is branded Tesla, there's a subset of the pickup truck market that will not be won over. So why try and competed with that?

Eric Bischoff of pro wrestling fame had the same approach when he started WCW on TNT. In his Ted Talk he says that he looked at who WWE was marketed to and went in a completely different direction because they were so dominant in that that demographic.

Wonder how much the government will subsidize the production of that unaesthetic piece of chit.

This isn't real. This is what they tease to lower expectations so when the real model comes out it looks amazing by comparison.

If you had one of these you would literally mog almost every driver on the street. The only thing that im confused about though are the safety features. I thought cars were designed to crumple, and auto glass was designed to break.

Might just get one and blast Astral Throb or Odysseus synthwave tracks on loop as im mogging around town

LOL. Kind of funny actually. 0-60mph 2.9 seconds. The material they used for the skin can't be drawn into rounded shapes. That's why it looks like a DeLorean. That being said, I drive an f150.

It's obviously not the final model. I'm sure they'll improve the glass and the aesthetic of the truck because it looks like complete chit.

I cringed hard at the glass part.

Im very surprised that a genious billionaire would let that **** happen on a live conference lmao, one would think he would have made sure the glass could take that hit before attempting it at the real show.

I was wondering how anyone could design anything this ugly, then I realized their trying to keep its radar signature as small as possible for stealthiness

You don't understand the genius of it. Know full and well the glass is going to break, and when it does people are going to hype up this manufactured "blunder"

Easy free press. This story is going to be everywhere the next couple days

My buddy has a 3. I love Teslas, but trying to do a trip outside of your city is a royal pia. Charging time takes forever. Range sucks. Road trips are going to take 3 or 4 times as long, especially in regions of the U.S. that don't have a lot of chargers.
