Ease of use is highest priority. So electric... pellet? I want to be able to set it, and have it hold a steady temp. I don’t want to have to baby it.

Price doesn’t matter much within reason.
I'm not bad ass enough to use anything other than electric. It's way too simple not to use. Just set temp and leave and you know it's always going to be correct.

Cool thanks. I’ll check out those propane ones right quick but maybe just electric.

Is this your first time using a smoker? Hope it turns out well. I started out smoking whole chickens. A turkey may be a bit adventurous.

It's not that hard to get a really good turkey done. Really similar to chicken. The hard part is getting skin nice and crispy.

Traeger pellet smoker. Going to be more versatile than just an electric/propane smoker. Also better flavor, etc.

Also, the master race Weber won't be out until January, and I'm assuming charcoal is outside your ability.

This one would do you nicely for the twice a year you'll use it, and it's currently $100 off.

Charcoal isn’t outside anybody’s ability. It’s just that only hipsters and boomers constantly want to be tending to that chit. I ain’t got time for that. Nor would I want to baby charcoal even if I had the time.

I like charcoal grills but I still use my propane 95% of the time over my Weber.

If you have a costco near you buy your Traeger there, that way when the POS breaks(like mine did multiple times) you can just return it no questions asked.

We usually buy this thanksgiving meal package from this Amish restaurant. It’s super convenient and better than anybody can make. They sold out by the time I tried to order it though this year.

Na. I used to be a partner in a restaurant in Philly. Made Esquires best new restaurants in America list. I know good food and I know how to cook it, but it’s not enjoyable to me. It’s work. I want to spend the least amount of time doing it as possible.

I ordered an MP5 equivalent from Parabellum Combat. I'm presuming it will cost less than what H&K will release and will not be shorted anything I want.

And to the guy who just picked up a Kimber...good luck. In one of my firearms classes at the local range the one guy who repeatedly had trouble among the 10 of us was the guy with the Kimber. Make it a "project" gun and you get to excuse away all the troubles...

I finally sold my STI for an AWD SUV

So far I got two heavy professional packing blankets for moving, could grt more in storage, a pillow, axe, machete, hatchet, duct tape, electrical tape, medical tape, rope, flint, lighter , para-cord, hiking boots, thermal underwear, two pairs of thermal socks, full thermal mask, Sun glasses, Camelback w/ 3 liters capacity, arctic jacket and pants, Indiana Jones hate, glock + holster, so I'm barely started here. But I got goals. Maybe some rubber boots for mud and more socks.

Id like a K-bar (recommend for reps pls), tent (even though can sleep in car, sub zereo sleeping bag, MRE's, snacks, etc, water jugs, chains for tires, bear bag, cooler, cooking utensils, propane stove, more rope, moree stakes and para cord, Possibly a bike rack to put my mountain bike on back. Maybe a tac vest for easy access to supplies and of course a full on first aid kit, the full nine yards. Maybe a crossbow too.

I know I'll need to pack slightly more clothes plus comfortable shoes, plan is to head to the snow and bring my skiis. And I'll be picking up chains for my tires even though It was coming down pretty rough last time and didn't use them in my other AWD,

Suggestions please? Thank you brothers and if any of you wanna roll im down, I've come to enjoy and appreciate life compared to before.

Oh and of course a Pancho
