Shortest length without a tax stamp. That NOX on a 14.5” would be .8” longer overall. Or in the opposite end you could do a 14.7 with a regular A2 pinned instead of a 16” with A2.

I have a 14.5 pinned and I’m a big fan of pinning. I like getting as short as possible without SBRing.

Don't even know if I'm going to do anything as of now. Just another one of those things that sounds fun but I will never use likely if I buy.

At this point, any gun purchase I make is a "just because" thing with no practicality or real reason behind it. I already have way more than I shoot.

Time to decompress a bit . . . poured a nice gass of Bulleit rye, settled down in my favorite chair, and gonna watch some football. Maybe take a little nap.

Busy day. Up at 5am to get the turkey and other stuff going. Ate around Noon and hung out for a bit chatting. Got the dishwasher loaded up for round 2 of cleanup. Got the carcass from the turkey in the Instant Pot right now to chef up some fresh stock since we ran out of gravy. Need to whip up another batch for leftovers.

We had McDonald's for lunch on Thanksgiving last year (driving between place). Stopped at one today and it was closed even though drive through boards were lit and there were 5 cars in the lot lol

Not McDonald's necessarily, but after Thanksgiving food for lunch, I'm never in the mood to eat it again later like most people do. We just got back from our town's Christmas lighting and walked in the house and it smells like Thanksgiving food. Gross.

I pretty much always eat Thanksgiving food for dinner that night . . . and then usually a couple meals the next day at least. Good stuff.

I mentioned having a different account previously and within minutes I was banned. It’s against rules to have multiple accounts. But really my last account was banned lol and I was finally able to make a new one.

Pisses me off though because that place has always been an echo chamber. They ban anyone that disagrees with their bandwagon themes. And now that brownells has bought them it’s gotten even worse. But at the same time, it helps me kill a lot of time throughout the day and most forums are completely dead. Arfcom is one of the few that are still going strong and active.

Naw. I think I’m legit going to go take fighting pistol though. Told my wife that he’ll have Black Friday pricing and she was like just go. But I’d want to wait until spring at this point probably. I want to find out for myself if it’s bad or if I can actually get some value from it. Would be fun worst case I think, long as my truck doesn’t get shot.

Of the people that i've talked to irl, or here, all said unanimously that it is well worth the money and the mindset that you get coming out of it is a life changer

Ouch. I’ve heard other stories where it sounds like they got too big too fast and couldn’t handle it. I think they probably have good intentions but yea kinda blew up overnight and probably weren’t qualified business wise to handle that.

I heard the same story and Mike was very cool on the phone. At the same time, the AR game is saturated. I can buy a PSA with an FN barrel and a Geissele rail for $500, versus the same thing from them functionally speaking for $900. If I didn't care whether or not it was ****ed up when it got here, I'd save the money.

ive heard psa uppers come with FN barrels but ive also heard mixed reviews of their products. id prefer to buy a complete FN upper.

in fact i probably will do that for three of my ARs.
