Yeah there is no way they reconnected the module like that, especially on a first try. They can't even send man into space in 2019 it's laughable to think they did this in 1969.

It's so sad that there's actually a human being sitting behind the computer typing out eod's posts. Whether he feels the need to troll anonymous message boards or these posts are actually honest and he's just the biggest idiot in human history, either way it's so sad. eod, I really feel sorry for you.

It's not crazy to ask how two manned objects traveling 30k mph managed to reconnect in the fuarkin 1960s.

your posts on the subject of the moon landings have been repeatedly addressed, you just don't seem to care and continue to post the drivel. You probably think this is some "deep thinking" by questioning it, but in reality you seem to be clueless on matters of even basic physics, mathematics, and history of space exploration. Yes, humans went to the moon in 1969, and several times after that. Deal with it.

Amazing, the one thing in the post I am quoting here that can be checked for accuracy: the 24,000 mph number orbital speed you reference is......wrong. Surprise!

CSM for Apollo 11 was in a circular orbit at altitude around 69ish miles. Let's literally do the calculation.

mv^2/r = GMm/r^2

v = sqrt[GM/r]

v = sqrt[6.67*10^-11*7.35*10^22/1834652]

v = 1634 ish m/s = 3655 mph.

NOT 24,000 mph, hurrr.

You can also arrive at this approximate number by the orbital period: CSM was known to make the complete circle around the moon in about 119 min, or 2 hours. This is a circle of radius about 1140 miles. Speed = d/t = 2pi[1140]/2 = about 3581 mph- slightly different than above, since lots here is approximate.

To answer your non-point, people [who know much, much, more about the physics and math of orbital rendezvous than random miscers posting in this thread like yourself] along with computers, were able to calculate trajectories, and once in orbit, the LM was able to maneuver appropriately to finally dock with the CSM. My other argument is if you don't believe it then go see it.

Go to NASA, see a launch, tour the VAB, look at the vehicles and other infrastructure. I stood under a Falcon 9 breaking the sound barrier, I watched the contrail disappear and main engine shut off as it left the upper atmosphere.

If you can look at the money and investment that has been made, as well as the current investment by private industry (SpaceX, Boeing, Blue Origin) on a daily basis and believe its all an elaborate charade put on by the government, then I have nothing left to say to you.

The launches you see is what's called an illusion. The logical fallacy is you saw an object launch therefore that MUST mean there are people inside on their way to the space station. You can even see the arc yourself, they simply land them in the ocean miles away from the crowds.

It still seems unlikely that engineers would accept this level of shoddy construction even on non-structural components. Even if for no other reason than you wouldn't want all of your work (and the aesthetics) to be "tainted" by something that would be so cheap and easy to do relative to the time and money that's already been sunk into the project.

Idc about the physics or math behind it all, there is no compelling evidence we went besides some stupid moon rocks. The footage is fake. The photos are fake. They destroyed/lost the tapes. Nobody else on this planet has been to the moon 50 years later. Buzz and Neil developed mental problems after. None of it makes sense dude.

Just because you can do some calculations doesn't mean it happened. Show me the proof.

The key to what I wrote was 'nothing left to say to you'. People who have the time and inclination trying to disprove outer space or space travel exists are either trolling, or dealing with a mental deficiency.

You are putting energy into someone who is trying to get you mad or struggling with the limitations of their own 60 watt brain, so its best to leave them be.

We can test things here on earth and witness them ourselves to prove their existence. Space travel however is inaccessible and you rely on a downward flow of information from the top of the hierarchy, much like a priest in medieval times. This may shock you but men lie.

Wrong. Mountains of evidence were pointed out to you in previous threads....not wasting time repeating it in the 5th identical thread on the subject. A google search is seconds away. The math btw was used to point out that literally the one thing you mentioned in that post that could be checked for accuracy- the 24,000 mph number- is wrong. Wouldn't expect anything more from someone producing these garbage tier posts though. You asked a rather specific question- how the ascent stage of the LM was able to dock with the CSM. If you bothered to read the stackexchange link, you'd have answers.

Btw the Lunar Module and its appearance was already discussed to death in previous threads- there are very specific reasons it has the appearance of crumpled gold foil, etc. if miscers would spend like 10 minutes searching out answers to these points, they would have their answers. Instead they mindlessly post drivel.

The only one claiming to be anything is you. I don't claim to know the truth, I weigh the evidence for both sides. The fact is that you have never seen any curvature. It's interesting how children are taught the earth is round before they even learn to crawl.

The title of that thread you authored is literally "The earth is FLAT (srs)". You aren't claiming anything? Just lol.

If anyone wants some entertainment, go through the thread and see his arguments getting wrecked one after the next. And when I say arguments, I mean some mindless picture with some false premise or fundamental misunderstanding of basic science. Pretty funny.

They can talk about the math all they want but it doesn't mean it happened. There is no proof. Just some crappy evidence like fake videos and moon rocks they probably think are real because the government says so.

If any of the videos of the landing or photos of the landing looked real i would have an easier time believing it but i can't believe any of that fake ass footage
