I appreciate it. I've gotten a fairly good feel for how things work the 9mm range officer. I just don't trust myself and do the electricians tape trick whenever I clean it to avoid the idiot scratch.

I do wonder if I should just get something lower end. Not sure how often I'll shoot 45 since I'm not setup to reload it yet.

WC has a plethora of stuff on roster actually. They have been great to the CA market. Hardly any wait times either. DW it's just the PM7 or Commander Classic Bobtail.

I've got a $1500 reloading setup at this point so Ammo isn't as big of concern. Would cost a couple hundred to add another caliber. Could stock up on primers powder and bullets though I suppose.

How’s the recruiting going? Seems like it would be difficult to get top tier athletes to Nebraska. I’m an Auburn fan/grad (yes, I can say “we”) and there isn’t much in Auburn, AL either, but it’s close to Atlanta and Florida where there are athletes everywhere. And on that note, **** Alabama

They just extended him 2 more years . . . he's there for the long haul for better or worse.

I'm shocked they look this bad. I knew they were a mess, but I figured year two would look so much better . . . especially on offense. It was more of the same (and worse in many areas).

RIP to me.

wanted to do a shootout between the Sig Slour P365 XL, Shield performanse center M&P and the 2.0c 3.6

got to the range and it was 38 degrees out, rainy, typhoon levels of windy

paper target got messed up so badly so I had to set up a few steel targets. Was the only one on the range so I Did some long range shooting from the parking lot into the actual range (lol) and dinged the steel at about 80 yards with the XL

and then did some point blank shooting at steel target with FMJ ball ammo and got lucky I didn't take shrapnel to the dome

I want to like the P365 XL. It's weird since its a larger gun with a thin grip.

guys, srs topic. i was talking to one of the mods on here about guns and stuff and the topic of that repeat offender troll that keeps coming in here and talking bullsh_t about guns came up. it turns out that guy is not mark1t. im bringing this up because ive always liked mark and it sucks that he get accused of trolling us. it aint him.

my thoughts on the matter are that i think of glocks as being superior to the 1911 as a tactically capable weapon but i enjoy shooting and fondling 1911s. in fact i got to shoot my friends colt series 70 1911 in .45 today. my friend also brought his HK 45, which is essentially a compact usp 45 and some kind of polymer framed cz 9mm. thing looked like another copy of a glock.

between those, my glock 17 and beretta 92, all the pistols handled similarly except the HK had a very noticeable muzzle flip from the high bore axis.

Just ordered the wife a peloton. I might mess around with it too but I used to be in to cycling and the thing to do was buy a smart trainer for your bike and do Zwift.

Man . . . those things are pricey. Hopefully she uses it or that's gonna be a pretty high end coat rack.

My wife's had a 24 hour Fitness membership that I've paid for the last 12 years or so and she hardly ever goes. Every time she brings up something like dropping Directtv, I suggest we drop her non-used gym membership and she always promises to start using it. Then she doesn't. They just opened a Chuze Fitness near us and there's a $9.99/month membership there. I actually bought one for my daughter and one for me so I can go with her occasionally. I might just buy the Mrs. one and drop the 24 Hour without asking. Would save me money in the long run.

Ugh I know. I asked like 10x before ordering, are you sure you’re going to use this?

She bought a $10k hot tub like 6 months ago and it barely gets used.

Whatever, makes me feel better about buying guns that I actually do use. Even though I feel guilty about ordering this URGI upper because I already have a 14.5 BCM.

I didn't think the sjw aspect was too heavy handed in this episode 4. My problem with the episode is that the demeanor and personality of "Mando" seemed way off and different than the previous 3 episodes. He seemed way too easy going and nice to the peasants. I understand that he has a soft spot for baby Yoda, that's cool, it's understandable because 1) it's a special species, jedi powers and what not 2) it's an orphan like him.

He was far too open and friendly with them "oh yeah so my parents died, sad times lul, yeah I'll let this widow get close to me and even let her touch my helmet and entertain the thought of her taking it off".

Mando just seems like some laid back average dude in some cool ass armor.

Idk, it just seemed way off. But that's probably because Bryce Dallas Howard directed that episode. My expectations lowered drastically after this episode. Show needs to be darker, I was promised dark and gritty but this is more or less the same **** from previous star wars.

Got my first 5.56 deer kill. Never used it on deer before. Surprised at just how effective it was.

Magtech first defense 77 grain OTM ~ 75 yd. Deer kicked, took a few steps looking drunk, then fell over doing the funky chicken a couple yards from where I shot it.

Entry wound, no exit wound visible:



Lungs were pulverized. The round fragmented and everything above the diaphragm was effectively destroyed. Devastating effect on target...would use again.

But then most people that have used it on humans say it sucks, so I dunno. I think if I was confident in where the round was going I wouldn't care at all to use .223 out to 300 yds easy.
