Is online dating finished?

It's been out for 5-7 years now in its current popular forms (tinder etc)

Seems like the majority of girls on there are trash - damaged from being pumped and dumped, frauding extremely hard in their photos, and generally about 2-3 points lower than girls walking around IRL.

I'm considering giving up and doing cold approach instead.

Is anyone still killing it on tinder with actual hot women (and not heavily made-up 5's)? Or is it time to just hit the bars / daygame cold approach.

Haven't been on it since I was single in 2014. It had HBBs everywhere when I was on it (OC/LA/SoCal). Has it really gone downhill that bad? Maybe it's your location.

Tinder/Bumble/Hinge are platforms sloots use to get an ego boost. You can smash 7+s on there but you have to be photogenic, live in a densely populated area, and sift through a lot of B.S. (more than what's it worth in my experience). Bar game is usually better/easier

i still use tinder with moderate success but most girls i match with are obviously not as attractive as their pictures

but Out of all the girls i've gone out with on tinder 20+

i'd say probably 1-2 wern't ****ed up in the head

the majority are completely ****ed and i mean ****ed

I mean

Complete whores, terrible past relationships, no education, social media addicts with no life goals ambition/ extremely dumb, type of girl who just posts and likes weird quotes on social media all day about life , main hobbies are drinking, partying , mammoth slay counts etc etc

Honestly it's ****ing sad. Feel sorry for the men who willl marry girls like this these days. Keep in mind some of these girls are 25+ too. I mean talk about tour is over.


warning do not ever ever get into a reltionship or date damaged girls because they will damage you avoid them like an absolute plague.


Just kinda sucks if you have a small social circle (like me) so you don't have many options. I can't remember the last time i actually met a girl who was intellectual and sexy, mosst girls i date are absolute trash.

Problem is the dating apps ruin cold approaches too. Girls used to gauge their worth based on the small number of guys who actually were willing to walk up to them. Now they gauge their worth based on the thousands of guys that swipe right on them giving them a false sense of entitlement. I know average guys who swipe right on every girl because it's easier to sort the few people they match with than actually looking at each profile when 90+% don't match back.

So that means even 3/10s are getting people they think like them (even though majority of those guys will unmatch them later/not reply) and the 7+/10's now realize 99% of single guys want to at least have sex with them instead of before thinking just the rare guy who cold approached them.

i would never use it, but i have a lot of buddies who do. seems like they invest massive amounts of time on it for how often they smash

it's more fun and efficient to just go to bars/breweries and chat up sloots srs

I don't think so. Whenever I re-download the app I get shown the top tier girls (because I'm a newly registered account) and even they are not as hot as girls I see day to day. Perhaps you're just falling for the angles and perfectly curated pics they choose.

I've banged 50 girls from tinder but I'm just getting totally fed up of it. I had 6 dates using it in the last 2 weeks and I felt catfished by 5 of them. Girls are just frauding so hard these days with their pics that it just seems utterly pointless.

it depends on the person. i know a few guys who use it and their return on investment is pretty good. for the top tier chads, tinder is like dating with a cheat code

Nah. The amount of dudes who will approach in real life is still much much smaller than the dudes who use dating apps. Women are attracted to confidence, and nothing displays confidence more than talking to randoms.

That's true but having said that most men are still going to get more 'no's' than 'yes's' when they cold approach. Confidence doesn't mean anything if the girl doesn't like your looks.

Back in 2012 2013 when most 'online dating' was done on your computer and not an app it was so much easier to chat up someone attractive. Skype with them to confirm attractiveness and 'Netflix and chill' that night or coming weekend.

You had cute college girls on their laptops checking dudes. Now every fat single mom is on it with a smartphone.

For most of them, social media is their only hobby, dating apps get thrown in to their 'social media entertainment. Just another form on content for them, dudes trying to pick them up.

Online dating was tons better when it was mostly attractive people and bathroom selfies. Now its attention whores and Instagram filters.

If you’re a older professional dude, online dating isn’t a terrible idea. If you’re young and in college or go out a lot, literally just talking to girls is about 1000x more productive.

I have them but hardly go on them anymore. It’s usually a waste of time and these girls definitely are points lower in person. I’ve met very few who are as good or better than their pictures.

I must be in the minority then because I do quite well on Tinder compared to cold approaching. Bumble I don't get much from though.
Legit would have ****ed less than 10 girls if I wasn't on dating apps and all would bE one nighter from clubs . Most below 5 too.

On tinder I have met maybe 50. Never below a 6 or maybe a 5 if I'm just inviting them over for a root
