ITT I Post Stylish/Fashionable Stuff [PART X]

PART 10of the stylish/fashionable journey for my fellow miscers. The last one has been around since 2016 so I'm trying to revitalize it and get people out of boot cut jeans, v necks, and chukka boots in 2020!

Gonna start off some links for places to check out.

No love for Looktastic in the OP? It has been one of the most helpful sites for me in figuring out what pieces of clothing I need to invest in.

Also I hope folks can contribute their own style fits. It's one thing to look good for the 'Gram, but there's a difference in that and how people look IRL to their own proportions and fits.

Also avoiding mistakes. I'm sure some of the more advanced fashionistas in the group are good at avoiding them but a good recap doesn't hurt.

Ah I forgot. Thanks!

I may post some retailers also, but to start off I think some of these are the best bang/buck.
- Nordstrom
- J Crew (though only buy their stuff on sale)

H&M/Zara are cool but I'mreallygoing to detract men from putting money into fast fashion unless they are starting out to find their style.

You're into high end fashion I see.

LOL I haven't seen anyone wear bell bottom jeans but apparently boot cut jeans are making a comeback lol.

I do like that men's fashion is getting away from the extreme skinny silhouette to something still fitted but also comfortable. I hope it stays that way.

People also think those massive-soled dad shoes look good too, but you wouldn't catch me dead in a pair. Some things need to stay in the history books.

Ha not really man. I own a few of these high dollar pieces - buy one or two a year. So not a whole lot.

I dress casual and comfortable most days. I never liked the boot cut or bell bottoms and man it was almost gross watching them walk lol

Into skinny jeans finally - loosing 35lbs was the best thing ever - look so much better in everything

Post up homie.

I do like understated stuff but I also like some style with flair. I'm getting a three piece suit made and should get it in a week or so.

Post what you want though. Streetwear, smart-casual, business casual, professional, etc. Whatever helps us build our personal style.

V necks are cool. Depends on your style. I like crew neck shirts more now with a heavier fabric. The joke I made about the v neck and chukkas was referring to the basic misc wardrobe where people recommended them.

This is true. So I think following style trends is OK to find one's style. I used to do v neck sweaters and argyle when I was younger. I much prefer shawl cardigans, crewneck sweaters in certain textures, and now playing with turtlenecks. Honestly where I live I don't get to wear sweaters much though but they are great for layering.

That's what I miss about living in Atlanta or DC. You actually have distinct seasons and can dress with each transition. Yesterday in TX it was 75F. Today it's 40F. It's ridiculous. You can still style in the other seasons though.
