Do any of you guys know much about the CZ Bren 2. I saw a 7.62x39 pistol yesterday and it seemed cool. Are there braces available for it?

Seems to fix the issues from the 805 Bren which was just weight and the reciprocating charging handle.

I ventured to the store of which we shall not speak, only had 27 cpr fed 855 nothing else even in stock that I saw

Not sure what you'd actually expect when you come here, ask for advice, and literally do the exact opposite of multiple peoples advice..over and over and over.

My local one has everything on clearance, some was even cheaper than listed on brickseek. Total pickup around 3k rounds 9, 45, 5.56, 7.62

Yup, had read some good reviews back when it first came out and then randomly saw one in the LGS. Handled it and was blown away by how good it felt and how good the trigger is. Only have a couple hundred rounds through mine so far, but it's been 100% reliable so far. Only failures have been a couple bad rounds of ammo that didn't fire.

I have a 9" 7.62x39 SBR. Also had an 805 and sold it after buying the Bren 2. Mine is the limited release variant vs the MS US release model that's currently available with the modular handguard. They come with a buffer tube end plate, so you can add whatever brace or AR stock you want. I have an ACR stock on mine, which IMO is the best stock for it, but obviously requires a different adapter. The adapter that ships with it, which I'm not sure is actually made by CZ, has a small amount of play in it, which is a tad annoying considering the overall price of the gun. That said, the Bren 2 is basically what any modern rifle/pistol should aim to be. It's light weight, non-reciprocating charging handle that can be used as a forward assist, ambi controls with same positioning as an AR, 3 position gas switch(one is gas off), and one unique control that is different but cool is a bolt release/hold that's at the front of the trigger guard like where the safety is on an M1A. The only thing I can't really speak to is accuracy, as I've only shot Wolf through mine, and it was basically head shot sized groups at 100 yards, but again that's Wolf so not sure how well it would do with better ammo. It's been 100% reliable though. I picked mine up on a ridiculous deal at the time for $1500 and have seen the MS variant creep down into that range once or twice lately, but go immediately at that price. Long story short, if you're looking for something different from an AR that is also a great platform, I'd definitely recommend.

I watched Death Wish with Bruce Willis last night. It was epic. Bruce goes on a killing rampage with a Glock. There’s lots of pro-gun rhetoric in the movie and how police just report after crimes happen and how you are responsible to protect you and yours.

Lots of crazy death scenes with brains spilling out and necks snapping and stuff. Y’all need to watch it ASAP if you haven’t.

I like how at the end he finally goes and buys guns legally and then when the bad guys show up at his house he blasts them with the guns he purchased.

So I went to 4 Walmarts today. What a waste of time. Two had nothing at all on clearance (and one of them even sold Fudd guns, but no clearance ammo). One had nothing left (okay some stupid stuff marked down from like $26 to $25 on "clearance" I **** you not) and then

One store had a bunch of crappy .40, 100 rounds of Tula .223, and some Remington .223 55gr at 25 CPR.

I picked up900 rounds of fuddy short and weak at about 14 cents per round after tax, plus the 100 rounds of Tula .223 at 10 cents each. The most expensive was the brass case federal .40 at $15/100 rounds




So no 9mm, no 5.56 or .223 worth a damn, at any of the 4. Well, the one store with nothing on clearance also had Federal .223 100 round packs for $25 which is fair but I'm not paying fair prices to ****ing walmart

Movie was actually better than I expected. I really like the old Death Wish movies, so I was a little worried this would be god awful. It was alright. They did a good job of having similarities to the original, without a complete and total identical story. I like how they ended it just like the first one with the random finger gun to the random criminal.

If I remember at one point when he's in the gun store they sort of imply how either its easy to get guns, or they would sort of cut a corner somewhere. Maybe I mis-remember that, but I know initially the interaction with the chick at the store seemed weird. Also the slide bite he gets.... c'mon. It was pretty exaggerated and it left a big ass wound for what seemed like weeks in the movie. Finally, I didn't like how he went to the gun store and bought the AR15, then when he uses it, it's a fully automatic gun. C'mon man...

When I looked at some of the links above, the stuff that was $17, was $40 by me. Overall, they still had decent deals, but not worth the running around and stocking up.

Same. I tried, believe looking in store and having them price check if not marked is the only way to know for sure, and if I stumbled into some 50%+ off 9 or 5.56 at any of the stores it would have been more than worth it, but it was not to be. The .40 at 14 CPR is a decent consolation, kinda wish they had had more of the 100 round boxes of brass federal. They had 200 round boxes of the exact same thing but they were 18.5 CPR vs 15 CPR in the 100's...figure that one out.

They also had ~15 CPR for brass Wincrapper .40 but I'm not doing Win again
