Sword, just wondering. What do you do for income to afford all of this?
I work in tech lol but I don't spend money on every piece. I do have a list of stuff I want though.
My philosophy, which is a potentially dangerous one, is buy once cry once. I think in my 20s I was developing my style more and would buy pieces of low/decent quality. If I find pieces I like that I find myself wearing a lot then I will shell out the $ for premium pieces because I get more wear out of them. Personally I'd rather buy a few very nice pieces than a bunch of okay pieces. I think for teenagers - mid/late 20s folks this is fine due to income levels and your personal style will change.
H&M/Zara are great for folks to try new stuff out that's inexpensive but it doesn't last long and honestly fast fashion itself over time is bad for the environment. Even if you donate the clothes you don't wear any more only a third of them are actually sold at a second hand shop (Goodwill, Salvation Army). So I think there is some merit to buying high quality, sustainable fashion and I think those can certainly overlap on certain pieces (shoes, denim, suits, outerwear, etc)
I have a better sense of what I like. You can always thrift too or use eBay/Poshmark for pieces. I found some Common Project sneakers, which retail for $411, for around $200 because they were the wrong fit for him. Only worn twice! I'm not really good with thrifting because it's tedious treasure hunting for me and I need some of my selections curated a bit.
I still have some gaps in my wardrobe and honestly where I live people don't really dress up as much but I'd like to be inspired by like minded folks.

So I may join the Creed Gang and get one of their fragrances. I've been ruminating on them for weeks. Luckily there is a Nieman Marcus near me so I can spritz myself when I go in there. I even went one time with my girl. We went back to a few fragrances.
- Aventus
- Millesime Imperial
- Green Irish Tweed

I won't go into too much detail about the fragrance details b/c they are pretty easy to find online.
Basically Aventus more of a fruity/sweet fragrance. I noticed after wearing it for a while a few hours on my wrist it tones down to a more woody, slightly smoky/leathery smell which I really like.
Green Irish Tweed is supposed to be more citrusy/aquatic/fresh. Frankly it smelled like Irish Spring or coming out of the shower to me. Not really into the ultra fresh scent.
Millesime Imperial is interesting because at first smell I really like it even though it's more of a marine/citrus smell. I bet it would smell great in warmer climates.
I also put Original Vetiver in the pic as well and what I recall was that I really liked it as a light fresh scent. Honestly the Tom Ford Vetiver is very comparable to me to it.
I rock Tom Ford Extreme Noir in the winter which is a heavy sweet/gourmand scent and is just a very sexy smell but of course heavier. I want something that is a spring/summer scent for me and TBH I'm not a huge fragrance guy so I'm keeping it simple with an every day.
I think Aventus may fit the bill for me for an everyday scent that I can put on without thinking but I really like Millesime Imperial.
Or I could just not wear a fragrance at all. The night I met my girlfriend she texted me later when she got home "I still have your scent on me." so yeah scents certainly can be powerful and evoke emotion.

I forget what site I used, but two years ago I bought a 3oz bottle of aventus for 180$ shipped off of a splitter. I made sure I got the number I wanted. Depending on the number changes the batch and the scent slightly. My favorite cologne ever.
I need some new Henley's and thermals. What site or store do you guys like for reasonable priced slim fitting shirts?

I think Huckberry and Taylor Stitch may be up your alley in terms of Henleys at least. IDK about thermals..
