Yeah, Fragrancenet is about $330 for the 3.3ML so if you got 3 for 180, that's a steal no matter where it came from.

Yeah I almost bought it at my old job (Nordstrom) at around that price. I did some research before I bought a vial and found a bottle for 180 so I jumped on that quick. I do tons of research before I buy anything. TVs, shoes, colognes, pre workouts, ect...

Lmao I'm the same way. I can't buy socks without reading 500 reviews first. I sometimes wonder if I have some disorder.

Think I've heard of that, but never actually tried to find anything there. I'll have to check it out.

Pap is a huge fragrance guy. It's interesting b/c most men don't even rock fragrances so if you do you're a step above others.

Anyway my goal is just a signature scent more or less. I've been playing around with some here and there as I mentioned. As far as fashion/style I'm more of a shoe guy.

I own a few of Johnston Murphy shoes and they’re awesome! I’m not anal about keeping them tip top shined and polished and stuff but they’re still holding up good.

I’ve made up my mind and will be buying creed aventus next time I come across it. I hardly use a bottle every few years lol so this one will last me a while I know. Still have so many others that are half used or so

Any of y’all recall Eddie Bauer’s Adventurer? It’s a recangularish green bottle and I bought one in 2001. Haven’t found it since then and that’s THE fuking cologne. They say they don’t make it no more.

I’ve smelled several since I was a child. My dad uses cologne every day - EVERY DAY. no matter what. So kinda grew up around it and shake off that Adventurer. It wasn’t very expensive but frigging good and would stay with you the whole day if not more.

Anyone know something that’s close to it?

My man! Regarding a signature scent, I hear you. I used to be that way, first i rocked Contradiction by Calvin Klein for years and then Creed Green Irish Tweed was my signature for a while, but then I went down the rabbit hole of smelling too many different **** that I get bored with a single fragrance now.

These are the ones I have in rotation now.

- Sid Mashburn Suede Chelsea Boots
- Crockett and Jones Sydney Suede Loafers
- TLB Mallorca Double Monk Straps
- Alden Cordovan Bluchers
- Greats Triple Black
- Common Projects Lows
- Clae Sneakers

I've sold some stuff before like two pairs of Alden shoes I had and another pair. I have some black shoes for suits but they are just some beaters. I got some beater boots as well and of course workout shoes and some Salamon Trailrunner shoes.

Some fashionable shoes I want on my list:
- Black Captoe Shoes (probably Crockett and Jones)
- Velvet Slippers
- Dress Boots
- Tassel Loafers in Snuff Suede

I'll post mine when I get home from work tomorrow. Definitely mirin some of your choices there including the CPs. I wanted a pair but they were too narrow for my foot. I was lucky enough to get a discount and win some of my shoes. So I have some Frye's, ferragamos, magnanis, and Too Boot New York. One pair of boots I highly recommend that everyone owns is these timberland chucka boots.

I used to recommend these all the time. Super comfortable.

Surprise, surprise. Clothes play a huge part in how we are perceived by others (and ourselves).

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41562-019-0782-4

The same face when seen with ‘richer’ clothes was judged significantly more competent than with ‘poorer’ clothes. The effect persisted even when perceivers were exposed to the stimuli briefly (129 ms), warned that clothing cues are non-informative and instructed to ignore the clothes (in one study, with considerable incentives). These findings demonstrate the uncontrollable effect of economic status cues on person perception. They add yet another hurdle to the challenges faced by low-status individuals.

Why face when it's all about the clothes?

Nice boots BTW. I certainly think that dressing well provides a psychological advantage, whether externally or internally, over people and how they perceive you. Which is why I say stay stylish

To be fair, one could argue that all clothing does is frame your face and physique.

And yes, those boots are dope af. Too bad they are the wrong size and I can't afford to spend $300+ on a single pair of boots right now. I will purchase me a nice pair of Jodhpurs/Chelseas during 2020 though, mark my words!

Wearing eyewear and shades if you get the right frame helps makes your face more symmetrical so you're right. The idea of clothes is to bring attention to your face really.

I didn't buy those. They are Magnanni and they are 350$ . Super comfortable and look good but I could never justify spending that much on sneakers. I'd recommend these.

I have a pair in all white and they are decent for the price.
