When we get some snow. It warmed up monday and tuesday with rain so our 6-7 inches of snow all melted. Sled season opens in 4 days and no snow in the forecast.

Last weekend we went to a party at a friends house. They live right on a big 20 acre field. about 10 inches of powder untouched. The adults and kids all brought their sleds and we spent the afternoon and evening tearing it up.

From a slow roll I hit the throttle and pulled back, skis came off the ground and didn't come back down for about 200 meters.

Does Gunbroker email you if someone outbids you on something? Try to steal a gun that's on my just because list. No reserve and I'm currently winning at like literally 1/3 what the gun is worth.

9mm....I guess I shouldn't be picky on brand and just stock up

Is there a limit on how much/many rounds you buy in one sitting?
those are the actual prices in the store. Not all stores have discounted afaik, but pretty sure they're not going to price match based on a quote from a non-affiliated website. Not aware of any limit.

my local store was cleaned out of clearance stuff.
Went to the big city and their ammo display, which is about 4 times the size of the local store's, was divided into 3 sections. Middle section was clearance and was completely wiped out except for a box or two of .32 ACP. no thanks lol

Another store had 200 rds of 9mm and 550 rds of 40sw in 165 gr and I got all that for $100.
They had at least a couple thousand rds of 180gr 40sw at the same price point, and I'm regretting NOT buying that too. Actually had about 1000 on the counter and was like... nah, I'm good. fml. Was right before 9pm so debating going back at 7am and swooping it all up.

no heavily discounted 223/556 or 308 was seen that day :/

the was a bunch of nicely priced 45 but I don't play that game.

the last 15 minutes is hours after the auction closes...
I watched one a few days ago. Forget what it was but the bid was around $5 on a $500 firearm until the last few seconds. Then people kept minimum bidding, and each bid extends the auction for a specifoed time, and after awhile it was mostly auto bids (they list the username and "autobid"). I quit checking back after an hour or so but it was still going.
I actually won an auction on a car once, and it was about the same. Best to just set your max bid, let it autobid for you, and check back the next day.

Yeah Gunbroker is like that. Last I knew it was the exactly opposite of ebay and many or most other sites. I think Gunbroker got it right extending the auction after a new high bid, the auto sniping crap at the last second is pretty annoying, and as the seller you can feel more confident that you got the most somebody was willing to pay with the 15 minute extensions...even if it's like the last 38 seconds of any basketball game that's within like 8 points.

I def agree with extending the auction. I'm just not going to sit and watch it lol

There are, what I'd call, "semi-pro" bidders spending hours and hours just looking for last second steals. Would make for a shtty experience for everyone else if it wasn't extended imo.

I know. Guess we'll see. I always see people winning auctions on gunbroker for insane prices. Doubt I'll be so lucky.

I'd guess referencing his first VP9 video where he was basically a petulant child who got mad after his very unscientific drop it in the mud and step on it test didn't go well so he started throwing it at stuff and even complained that what was it a charging protrusion or mag lever or something broke when he threw it into a steel plate.

But that wasn't "rigged" that was just stupid and mostly irrelevant and criticism for that is exactlywhyhe started doing the gauntlet which was very controlled and consistent and fair between guns (and not all guns performed equally there of course...and now there's no room to complain about the process)
