Touch N Go or Dead Stop Pulls (4 plate PR ITT)
Rate the reps misc.
I personally prefer a mix of both, atleast for hypertrophy. Rep out touch n go (not crash and go) and then find the balls to rape out 1-2 more
PR that, at least since I've been under 200 lbs, I hit 7 with sumo when I was fat

To me it's not a deadlift if it's "touch and go."
The mechanics become more like a romanian deadlift, plus it's simply not a dead pull anymore.
Nothing against it, just by definition it's not a deadlift, except for the first one if it's pulled from the floor.

I was just always under the opinion that the tng with controlled eccentrics may have a bit more ROI for hypertrophy
Honestly could care less if people think it "counts"

If training for strength and or powerlifting the main focus should be dead stop deadlifts
Practice as you play
For hypertrophy only I could see an argument for touch n go reducing systemic fatigue however touch n go doesn't mean bounce like a basketball, more you should treat the ground like eggshells and do a light touch so that you are in continuous control of the weight

If I don't agree that one of them is a deadlift, then it's relevant to the discussion lol.

The RDL is a better lift, I'm doing these because I'm in a phase where I feel like pulling off the floor

But excellent test of might.
Very good power to weight ratio.
What's your weight right now?
And looks like you could have got 2 more. I didn't see any hitching on the last rep. So were you going for a non-hitch PR?
Because with hitching you could have got like two more. BUt yeah that's a really good, good form PR.
Also PRs are like world records because nobody else on the planet is you. So whatever you set a PR in it's almost as if you set a WR. Because nobody is living your life or going through the things that you're going through.
SO I can only imagine how pumped you were after setting this all time PR.
