All the men on my moms side of the family bald a ton and young. All the men on my dads side are 60+ with a full head of hair. I've read that you inherit baldness from the mothers side of the family. Hope not true.

Problem is, you don’t have enough follicles to completely cover the top of your head. So, when you are 50 and a NW10, the transplant is going to look goofy as hell, you’ll have random bald patches and a perfect hairline but bald behind it

As someone that can easily afford the best transplants, this is what stops me. Finasteride only works for so long, eventually you’ll go full NW10

Pretty sure most people's hairloss isn't that aggressive and they never go beyond NW 3-4. So they don't even need to take chit like finasteride after a transplant. The most optimal scenario.

Blind optimism like this is what leads to NW3-4 in the first place. If you were smart, you would’ve taken it during NW2 at the absolute latest.

Transplant and then no finasteride, that’ll end well for you, I’m sure of it

I'm quite sure the vast majority of guys don't recede that much between the ages 20-50 so they're fine filling out temples and perhaps a bit on the crown

By the time most of us are 50 (20-30 years) Replicel will be common place. Clone ONE healthy follicle, reproduce x 8000, brb full head of hair. Probably cost a lot but by 50 you should be able to afford it
