As comedian Andrew Shulz said, balding is a choice now. He's been on finasteride for a while. He caught it early:

I can't believe capitalism hasn't solved hairloss in men and women yet. Brb trillionaire overnight. Only thing you can do is take finasteride or dutasteride and get a hair transplant. You can also add adjunct treatments like keto shampoo and rogaine but those aren't going to work on their own. Same treatment as the 90s. It's weird.

I have seen great results from SMP. It may sound goofy, but I would rather do that, for cheaper, than to undergo a transplant.

Transplant is cool if you have minor thinning and it is receding slowly. Otherwise, the only real cure (aside from SMP or hair system) is cloning/multiplication of donor hairs. Which might never be a reality.

Oh I've seen some dudes who looked like they were on the sex offenders registry when they shaved their heads, having a lightbulb shaped head, david hogg chin and a tiny body is not a good look when bald especially when combined with glasses.

Tbh I don't miss hair at all, I was a pretty boy as a teen but at 40 and married I think my days of 25 year olds are over

I love all the fearmongering from "failed transplants". No kidding - just do your research and go to a reputable source. Got mine done 7 months ago in Istanbul, Turkey. Total trip, including transplant, airfare, hotel and shopping was $4400.00. Hair looks better than it did when natural because I asked them to make it denser.

Went to "Elithairtransplant" in case anyone wants to look into it.

If a lack of hair is making you insecure then don't listen to anybody else. Just do it.

My bro got HT. I never bring the topic up as he's kind of sensitive about it, but whatever he paid was pissed away. He started at Norwood 4, after-Norwood 4, slightly better. He keeps his hair short so I'm sure that has to do with how terrible it looks. I don't know how it works, but the results were unimpressive and he likely wasted thousands of dollars. I've read a bit over the years, ironically he always razzed me about my thin hair and how I'm losing it. The thing that worries me is I'm still young, and hair transplants only last so long-they still recommend finisteride to preserve the rest of the hair or it's going bye bye anyway. Not into that. Too risky. Not enough reward. I've my woman, so there's bias. Young dudes coming up have a different perspective, which I respect. But, I don't think a simple hair transplant is a panacea, and shouldn't be paraded as risk free or some miracle. Looks great when done right and with support over the years tho.

The biggest slayer I've met was a aggressive manlet who shaved his head (no guard) despite having a full head of hair. Girls couldnt get enough of him because of his confidence (srs)

Nobody is arguing that hair isn't better. You gotta work with what you got, and women care more about charisma and confidence than looks. I have a good argument against HTs. They look like sht unless you are barely receeding and receeding slowly. NW5 and above can't even get one without having a whispy ass big forehead combover haircut (long in the back to cover scars) for the rest of their life. Yeah when hair cloning/multiplication becomes a reality, those of us who have it will happily drop 20k, but that sht has been in the pipeline literally since the 80s. I'm not taking any drug that potentially breaks my dink either. I'd rather be bald with a raging python.



I do think that FUE combined with smp for a full shaved head look could be nearly a cure. But the donor scars are the main issue.
