How many trans have u met? I've met 2 in my life and they were surprisingly ordinary. 1 seemed kind of butch female. Never would have guessed trans. One was giant jacked like 6'6" manwoman lmao but she was actually a nice person. Felt bad for her. I've also read about and seen an interview with a trans math professor. Also seemed like an ordinary person.

u hear about and see all this ridiculous "Did u assume my gender?" chit in memes and on the internet, but again, this is cherry picked propaganda to elicit hate. It's like recording the biggest flaming gay ******* u can find and then saying all gays are like that.

When I was younger I understood the word "phobia" to mean an irrational fear of something. Like someone who is deathly afraid of a small spider or something equally as harmless. This is pretty much the same as the google definition

People who were actively seeking medical treatment to transition, I'd say around 40-50.

Not any sort of sample, this was in med school at your run of the mill teaching hospital. Outside of that niche group I was subpoenaed to testify against one who hid cameras in women's bathrooms in a group and another who threatened to sue a church women's choir who disbanded as part of the settlement. It's fine if you think I'm lying but then there's no point in us continuing a discussion.

No, actually no prison population, never dealt with that once though I'm familiar with that game as my close friend is an RN at a hospital. The pseudo seizure stories he tells me are too much lol.

Think of it this way: You're dealing with people who come in to the ER and the first thing they tell you is that they'll kill themselves if you don't give them everything they want. Every medication they want, a private room because they think they'll get beat up by people practically on life support (even though it's a public hospital and that's unrealistic) and threaten to ruin your life if you don't bend to every one of their whims. But also they're suicidal, so it's weird that they're mentioning the name of their attorney as you do their intake.

Nothing short of narcissistic nut jobs. There's a reason I graduated and decided to do research.

Were they saying they were suicidal in like a threatening manner like "Give me what I want" or more like "I feel helpless and this surgery would change my life" kind of thing?

Because I have heard from trans and they say "If I hadn't had the surgery, I'd be dead right now." but I don't think that is in a threatening way. It's just that they really think the surgery improved their lives.
