This clearly isn't true, imo.

You're conflating overall 'caring' with 'caring for a particular superficial asset', i.e. looks. In other words, you're doing the same thing as these status promoting brahs, only the asset takes a different form.

I think the only way a woman will genuinely care for you is if she likes your personality, as beta, ghey and cliche as that sounds.

Yea maybe a base level attraction is required, as well as a base level of resources, but if you're hoping to avoid divorce then she needs to like you as a person and vice versa.
