Way too much here to answer. Best lifting tips I can give is to commit yourself physically and mentally 100%. Understand nutrition, proper form and intensity. Learn how to periodize your training.
I get lots of doors open for me, and dudes breaking their neck to catch a glimpse. Lol. I have no idea if they look at me because they think I’m sexy, or that I’m such a big bitch. Maybe the latter. LOL

It’s mental work when I long to be the woman the entire time. It’s not easier being with either. They both carry their pros and cons. Many men are still closeted when it comes to their feelings about trans women, so relationships with them is difficult.

I am a man. I was born a man. I know I am a man, However other than having a male body, can I answer the question, "What does it feel like to be a man?" No, I can't. What does it "feel like" to be a man or a woman? How does one "feel like" the opposite sex? Also why should "feeling like" a woman, make you a woman? Why do ones feelings regarding their gender determine the reality of it? My feelings do not determine my age, height, or skin colour. 80% of misc would identify as 6'5, 225 and black if this was the case. Do you accept trans-racial, trans-species, and trans-abled as a reality?

Under muscle. I think the gym camouflages perceptions. Managers think I’m a jack to woman. Outside of the gym people clock me all of the time. It is what it is

Your point of view on sports sounds disappointingly self-serving: you consider first your own activity that you clearly wouldn't want to give up. Why are individual sports so very different from team sports? What if, say, the pitcher of a softball league were transgender (are you the pitcher?)? That's a key position on the team. Is there a difference between recreational leagues and school sports, which may lead to college scholarships? Or World Championships/Olympics?

I don't feel that I know enough to have an opinion on the subject, but these are concerns that I have heard mentioned before. I have often thought that, if I were trans, I would happily participate in sports on a casual level but would absolutely never seek to compete, fearing any advantage I might have.

And I participate in a casual way, but it’s competitive. I’ve played at the highest level of amateur slow pitch softball
I played with gals much much younger as well. There are many that hit the ball harder and farther than I do, but not many that are faster than me even though I’m 53. Again, playing at that level I have never really made a difference whether it’s women’s or mixed. Haven’t won a championship yet

Of course I sought therapy. This isn’t a game of tiddlywinks. It’s serious business, and I put a lot of soul-searching into it. There is no alternative therapy. If there was a pill I could take that would have made me stay myself prior to transitioning, I would have taken it, although begrudgingly.

The surgery isn’t where it needs to be, and the results are not guaranteed. This is extremely concerning to me. I won’t want to do something, and then have it not work. It’s irreversible.
