Don't really see the advantage here...markups, then being changed 3 times for delivery privilege (2 Uber fees plus tip), and then you have a different neckbeard or foreigner down on their luck knowing where you live each time you order. No thanks Jeff.

I've never used any of those new delivery services. I usually don't even get delivery directly from the restaurant on the rare occasion I get take out, I'll call it in and go pick it up.

I have never understood the entire premise.

I mean, I get if you are sick in bed or drunk and want to eat.

But are you really going to pay $34 for some wings and a sandwich? Can't drive or walk to go get it?

I can afford to do it but to me it is the principle of it all. I KNOW I am being ripped off by using something like UBER eats, so I just cannot allow myself to do it.

Not to mention who in the hell knows what the drivers do to that food. If one of those sjw neck beards saw me in my MAGA hat?

Yah same with doordash but I still use it once in a while when I'm lazy or hungover. The prices of the food are even marked up on both apps. Actually just ordered 2 sandwiches from my favorite spot in another city for $40

America is **** tier when it comes to convenience, especially in the areas of food delivery services, general deliveries, and payment methods. Even China is light years ahead of America in all of these areas lmao. Brb having to pay almost $13/month for 1 day delivery, brb having to wait 2 hours and pay an additional $10 for a ****ing meal, brb no QR code payments. Kay, even the peasant on the side of the road in China selling potatoes allows QR code payments.

I used Instacart a few times, they were truly sneaky fuks with hidden charges.

They had an option for service $ which turned out not to be a tip. Then the guy who delivered accidentally left the original receipt in there and there was close to 50% markup on items (which is not evident while choosing items).
