Just lmao at anyone who bought a G44. Another video of one blowing it's extractor assembly out.https://www.********.com/23303631678...0746188011329/

Glock Perfection.

That I'm aware of, that's 2 with cracked slides, 3 with blown out extractor assemblies. From a gun that's been out for ~5 days.
Yea. 20% codes help but I don’t use freeze dried food as a staple. It’s just good to have some IMO. Lots of chili, canned vegetables, and tuna too along with water of course.
I have some I got years back (like, 12-13 years ago) when they used to allow group buys, I got in on one of those for a steep discount. Wish I could/would have got more, didn't know they would stop allowing group buys (too many people heard about them and bought at the drastically reduced price apparently).

The biscuits and gravy is so good I buy the pouches of it on amazon and eat them sometimes for breakfast just-because at home (also they are ridiculously good while wilderness camping). I also really like spaghetti, lasagna, rice w/chicken (kinda bland-ish but highest cals, add seasoning/sauce), and chili-mic w/beef. And regular macaroni. Those would be my favs.

If you ever actually get to a scenario of eating food preps out of necessity, appetite fatigue is apparently a real thing, so a bunch of canned chicken/tuna and then beans and rice might just not cut it. Jump some MH in there for variety/mix it with the staples, that kind of thing.
They didn't confiscate everywhere in LA. I know people who were outside of the city who had to patrol their neighborhoods because their were legit roving bands of criminals coming to kill and take chit from people. The way he put it sounded like only half of the official death toll came from the storm and the rest were person on person violence afterwards. I have seen those youtube vids of the national guard going door to door taking guns. I think their purpose was to force those guys to leave their property cause there is no way they could stay unarmed
Outstanding.

I know the gun confiscations didn't make it everywhere. But, it happened, and in a place people even still like to say "lol not gonna happen here". uh-huh
Just ordered a case of MREs from Meal Kit Supply too.

I know there are nerds out there who know everything about MREs but these seem like a higher end civilian version so whatever.
They're fine.

The problem I have with MRE's is the more limited shelf life. Some things go sooner than others. Most entrees probably stay good a very long time, but some other things...no. Fruits, spreads, some desserts, I forget what else, they do go bad/at least get nasty. I've thrown out cases worth of MRE's over the years because once they are a decade past the inspection date and it's been years since the TTI sticker went dark...eh. I just open the bag and take out entrees + whatever else I am confident stays good, like peanut butter, and keep those. Try to eat the MRE's once in awhile to get use out of them and replace with new.
All this talk about M&P's in here finally got to me. Was originally planning on throwing an Apex trigger kit in it, but after a couple hundred dry fires, the factory trigger is actually surprisingly good and don't see a reason to change it. Have yet to see how well it shoots though.

[img]https://i.imgur.com/JX39Zpm.jpg[/mg]
Don't ever try out an Apex unless you're okay with having to put one in every M&P you own from now on.

New proposed CA law would ban "parts and accessories" for guns not on the states approval list ("roster"). Ban would extend to magazines, holsters, ect.

Das it mane. If someone can't get a proper holster for a gun they can't kill anyone with it.

Well, I'm sure it'll pass. Better start looking into your future and buy anything you might possibly ever want now.

Glock should stick to what they do best - manufacturing the exact same pistol for almost 40 years.

Lmao. Dun went and actually made a pistol that's a little different than their other 30 offerings and now look.

You basically cut out having to pay for the heaters, and the powdered drinks, and salt/pepper, and napkin, and other random little chit that comes in the MRE. You definitely get more bang for you buck IMO and you get exactly the meals that you want, instead of whatever just happens to be in the box of MREs.
They are expensive but I’ll pay a premium for a good quality one like this. If I was buying thousands of dollars worth it’d be different.

I’m going to keep a case or two of those MREs, a couple buckets of Mountain House, tuna, canned vegetables, and chili on top of cases of bottled water, my water I have in the military water jugs, and I’m about to buy a Berkey.

I’m on well water and even without power I can get water because I have a couple of those manual pumps/valves on the property. That with a Big Berkey would be money.

As a diehard Glock fan it is pretty funny to see. That’s what you get for making THIS the legendary announcement or whatever the phuck they were calling it.

Dude at my gun store was raving about his. He went and got one from the back. Wasn’t even checked in yet but made me dry fire it and stuff. It did feel really good and the trigger mimicked a regular Glock really well.

I handled two here that we transferred. They're ok. It wouldn't be my pistol of choice for a .22lr, even before I found out they're apparently junk. I guess if you insist on having a .22 that's the same as your carry and/or duty gun it's fine, but yeah, I'd buy a Mark IV any day over the G44.

They're really that good? Cause I'd say this M&P trigger is better than a VP9, which I also view as a nice striker fired trigger, just not on the level of a CZ P10. I picked this up for $409, so I suppose even if I did try one out, I'd still be into it for close to the same or even a little less than some of my other duty type 9's.

For a tack driver type 22, it's tough to beat a Ruger Mark series or Buckmark, but for a plinking gun, I can't say enough good things about that Taurus TX22 I picked up awhile back. Amazing ergos, excellent trigger, comes with a factory threaded barrel adapter, 16+1, and so far for me has been 100% reliable.

Well, IMO, the stock M&P 2.0 trigger doesn't compare to the VP9 because the MP breaks too far to the rear. It's the only stock pistol trigger I have where shooting one handed, my trigger finger hits my thumb for example. So the forward set really makes a huge difference, to me. It's also noticeably more clean and crisp than a VP9 trigger.

But I'd say if you, all factors considered, big picture, find the trigger better than a VP9, don't spend the money on a fancy Apex.

They are.

Some people have said that if you have a problem (rare) they can be difficult to deal with, but I've ordered guns and mags from them several+ times with no issue, and had no problem contacting customer service the one time I needed to

It should not be hard to remove the safety

I doubt it's the pressure of the round. More than likely the recoil is moving the shotgun in your hand, and you're opening the action. This happens every time I fire a shotgun from a bag (during sight in, for example).

They absolutely would. I don't think it's too far off if we have a dem president next year.

They don't even need to confiscate. Outlaw target shooting like NY basically did, remove any legal exception for self defense if a firearm is used. Most "gun people" are afraid to bend the law now when its on their side. All those people would unload their chit faster than you can imagine in the above circumstances.
