So Filson, Patagonia, LL Bean are kind of outdoorsy/americana/traditional prep brands but what brands do you associate with the ocean, fishing, nautical, sailing? Have been picking up some stuff lately from Saint James and Armor Lux lately, Armor Lux also have a sailing apparel brand called Bermudes which has some interesting stuff. Not really thinking Vineyard Vines, resort type wear but more brands tied to heritage or modern navy, fishing and sailing.

I think when this was popular when alot of mainstream clothing was that relaxed, bootcut jeans and boots look.

Now, everything is this ultra slim fit. No baggy and all form fitting now. Basically, the whole S&P thing was kinda integrated into trendy daily wear. The other I guess that is common is athleisure.
