The same politicians who sent so many young men and women to fight and die in a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 are now clapping for them? The same politicians who allowed thousands and thousands of veterans to end up homeless are now cherry-picking cases for easy applause? If you want to look legitimate in your love to veterans, stop sending them to invade places half a globe away and stop pretending like they do not exist once they come home.
