Yeah you'd think people would look this **** up themselves and see that Kansas City is...wait for it...in the state of Kansas as well as Missouri

But the sheep all said orange man was wrong so it must be true

My go-to LGS does $20 per 4473. The old owner was a boomer fudd and charged $50 per transfer and sold things way above MSRP. His philosophy was to sell at higher margin, lower volume and if people aren't buying firearms from his store then he will make enough money from the transfers. His philosophy caused his business to close. I know his prices from his distributor so he could've easily pushed more product at a lower margin. The new owner basically did the complete opposite from the boomer fudd and it's been the top LGS in the area for a couple years

Did they not teach economics to these boomers in school?
Yeah they can run it how they want, but from what I understand it would be like 60 seconds more work to write the additional serial numbers and info on the same 4473 form... I mean that's what they already had to of done, and it waselectroniclmao. In addition to that, I have AZ CWP so they don't even have to do the NICS check... can't be hard. FURTHERMORE (lol), I have got them at least three Glock sales.

When I went there, it was a younger employee (newer?), IIRC in the past I've transferred more than one firearm from them in the past and they just charged me the flat $20. When I had finished submitting theelectronic4473 form, the younger employee rings me up "ok so $20 per lower" I bert stared him but they were 5 min until closing and I just didn't care enough to argue so I just paid it, because the M4E1 lowers still came out to be $85 with the $20 fee per lower, oh well.

Main reason why I would want to use them again is because all of my favorite online retailers already have their FFL information so it just makes it a bit easier.

I'm not talking about the parts kit just the stripped receiver itself
https://www.primaryarms.com/bravo-co...-cosmetic-blem

The sale on BCM complete blemish (cosmetic blem) lower that I posted is IMO the best deal when available. I've seen it come up on Primary Arms like 2 or 3 times per year, at least. Hell even the full price blem is a good deal

For $280 you get a solid quality complete lower. These are the components of said lower, but if you were to buy them piece by piece at MSRP:

- Stripped lower: $125 (probably about that) BCM master race roll mark on a quality lower receiver. Can't buy stripped BCM lowers any where, so price unknown but realistically it's worth prob about the same as a Geissele stripped lower ($125), or even more depending on how you look at it.
- Lower parts kit with fire control group and grip: $120 BCM lower parts kit with their "BCM PNT" trigger and GUNFIGHTER (wow!) Mod 3 grip. The trigger is a solid trigger, have used before, definitely better than A2/general-issue "milspec" triggers. Also my go to griphttps://www.primaryarms.com/bravo-co...arts-kit-black
- Stock and Buffer "assembly" (tube, spring, buffer, castle nut, end plate): Would be like $115 for a BCM Mod 0 stock and the other buffer parts, something like this:https://bravocompanyusa.com/bcmgunfi...ock-kit-black/but that comes with a "carbine" buffer, whereas the complete lower comes with an H1 buffer.

So for all of that part by part you're looking at like $360 minimum for something comparable. You could do it cheaper by getting all that same stuff but with a $85 M4E1 Aero lower and save like $40 (so $320 total), but you'd still be at $40 more than the $280 BCM completed blem lower.

If you can't wait until you see a BCM blem on sale again, then consider paying it full price, or just get the M4E1 stripped lower, the BCM lower parts kit, and a stock/buffer "assembly" to your taste. That's what I'm doing with at least one of these M4E1 lowers that I got.

Quoting myself because I'm a narcissist... (joke)

IMO probably the best deal for a good quality AR15 is...

Either:
A) Get the BCM complete blem lower ($280 on sale, $340 otherwise)
B) M4E1 Aero stripped lower, then buy the BCM lower parts kit and stock kit (About $300 if you can get the M4E1 lower on sale at about $65, otherwise $320)

Then buy a BCM complete upper, such as the MK2. With BCG and charging handle it the upper comes out to be about $900
https://bravocompanyusa.com/bcm-mk2-...-15-handguard/

Option A with the upper $1180 when lower on sale.
Option B $1200 with lower on sale, but you have to build the lower (not hard though)

That being said... Geissele master race Super Duty 16" complete rifle is $1040 with a 35% off coupon/sale/Black Friday, hnnnnggggg by far the best deal of eternity

IDK, there is that Colt Trooper M4 (LE6920 with factory free float 13" centurion arms m-lok rail and low pro gas block) that was like $720 a couple years ago.

But yes the 35% of super duty is a fantastic deal, best recent one

Millz,

Couple sundays ago was out with the m8s. One m8 wanted to continue drinking but his family was hungry.

What did he do?

Doordash'd taco bell to the fam. $40 later a taco pack and a chalupa meal delivered home.

I've put together a few Anderson lowers now and haven't had any problems with them. I think you'll notice a difference in finish (maybe), and I'm sure if you search there have been tolerance problems, but for me personally I don't see anything wrong with them.

I can't speak of BCM (never had one), but I have used probably a dozen or so Anderson Lowers, dozen or so Aero Gen2 Lowers, and Aero M4E1 Lowers.

On the Anderson Lowers, fit and function are fine. The finish feels like someone rattle canned primer on it. You can take a tissue to it, and leave a trail of white tissue debris behind. For this reason, it's my favorite to rattle can. I get them from my LGS for $45 out the door. I'd only recommend Anderson for truck guns or painting projects. I particularly like the closed triggers.

Aero Gen2 is a step above for about $20 more then the Anderson. The finish is super nice, and the tensioner screw underneath the grip is worth it, imo. These are my gotos for anyone wanting a recommendation on a super cheap lower.

Aero M4E1 are really nice. $95 at my LGS. I personally use these ones on my more expensive builds. They just look cool. The bolt catch screw, and the rear detent screw are nice, but not really a factor on purchase. It's just so damn sexy.

For LPKs, I use Aero's and Anderson GEN2 Stainless (make sure it's GEN2). Anderson's Gen2 LPK can be found around $37 online. When I buy Aero's, I normally just buy the LPKs without the FCG and grip. Normally around $20-$25. I don't buy "no-name" brand LPKs. I worked with super cheap LPK, and they are chit. Out of spec, pins either too large or too small. Spring are shouldn't really be called "springs", etc. Cheapest I'd go for LPK is Anderson's.

Recently got a PSA LPK (like literally last month), and the bolt catch was out of spec. Too thick, wouldn't even fit. Fortunately, I had plenty of spares to finish the build.
I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.
Thank you, LORD, my God.

Most of the food delivery around here has like a $8 minimum fee for taco bell with delivery and other charges, then the like 10% surcharge on every item. Thankfully I have a taco bell like 400 yards away from my house

I haven't shot a gun in five months. I don't miss Charlotte but I do miss burning at least a thousand rounds a month at Blackstone and my friend's properties. You can't even have a knife in your pocket in NYC. We have had a few sticky situations but i handled them and we learned quick to stick to the right areas. I have had more fist fights in five months than the last twenty five years combined. Lord help you if you wander into the wrong spot. Everyone seems to just always be on edge, all the time.

Most of the food delivery around here has like a $8 minimum fee for taco bell with delivery and other charges, then the like 10% surcharge on every item. Thankfully I have a taco bell like 400 yards away from my house
That would be dangerous.

Anyone else a USAA member that got notified about getting a new card because of a security issue on their side?

I'm currently in the process of selling my house and I might move to Rockland county to live with a friend for a few months. Never been to NY, might be time to buy a MAGA hat and become an internet provocateur

We have a guest friend from Charlotte who came in last night for the weekend, and we were discussing this. I used to wear my official MAGA hat ordered directly from the Trump campaign website in Charlotte all the time, and it got reactions there since that is a liberal little podunk inbred hillbilly redneck peckerwood sister fukking pussy town, but they got nothing on NYC. I wear it around town up here and the reactions are hilarious. They don't hold back up here. I should post pics.

There's a pretty interesting thread on arfcom from a guy that was a main sales rep for DPMS for quite a few years. Now that Cerberus or whatever has shut them and Bushmaster down, he's doing a Q&A. Nothing too crazy as far as truth bombs or anything, but he confirms most all of the major AR brands all buy parts from each other and mentioned BCM specifically has bought quite a few parts from them over the years. Mentioned DD as being one that probably uses more of their own. I think most of us already knew a lot of parts were sourced from the same companies and used in all sorts of various brands, and obviously quality control, warranty, customer service, etc. are what really create separation and value over others.

Kind of a funny trivia fact, apparently the owner of DPMS chose a panther as their logo because he thought it looked cool and that a panther could eat a horse a la Colt.

I read somewhere a few years ago that PMAGs were having some seating problems with BCM lowers. Not sure if that was corroborated or not. Haven't had any problems in mine.
