I draw, sculpt, felt (make felt sculptures), write, lift, run, swim, and train BJJ. I also like to cook and bake--more accurately, decorate what my girlfriend bakes. I also play video games, but am trying to cut back lately.

Guitar, drums, collecting music, lifting, programming, reading and acquiring knowledge, learning languages, and now trying to get better at cooking.
My work schedule makes it difficult to put too much time into them though.

I don’t really play any songs that are worth recording since I am early in the learning process I’m only learning tone quality, intonation and rhythm at this point.
I have discovered, the hard way, that learning the violin is an extremely long and challenging process. Honestly it will be at least 5–7 more years of lessons and endless practicing before I sound anything like an actual violinist.
Try this. It’s my favorite recipe ❤️☕️—>https://imgur.com/a/okkbXNj

My grandmother was a professional seamstress and I learned from her. My favorite thing to make are pinafore dresses for little girls and Halloween costumes. Some of my best memories as a kid we’re made while sewing with grandma. I love to bake bread and yummy treats. I used to sketch, draw, paint but gave it up more or less after I broke my hand 25 years ago.
A few of the costumes I made for my daughter over the years.

So many cool hobbies in here. I wish I had more time to learn stuff.
Oh and I guess I'll add ballroom & latin dancing to my list. Took lessons for over a year but gave up because I don't have a good partner to practice with and it just gets frustrating taking lessons forever with leads who aren't very good. If I could find a good partner (or could afford private lessons) I'd go back to it for sure since I just love to dance.

Vermiculture is something I'm really into but rarely talk about here. It's both a great way to be mindful of food waste via composting but it's also really rewarding to trade my "liquid gold" with some families outside of town. The fresh peaches and jams and all that are nice but the best part is meeting and getting to know families who make their land more lush and fertile because of what I do in my tiny little urban backyard. My worms work hard for me.
Writing music is another thing I do for fun. At this point it's more of a passion project than anything...I'm totally fine with no one every hearing anything I write. I sing in a choir every now and then, and that's nice to do. I also love to cook and bake and so lately I've started checking out as many books as I can on one type of cuisine and doing my darnedest to make some of the dishes. I've always loved Russian and Uzbek cuisine so now I'm trying for some Soviet dishes. It's a lot of fun! Some things though really are made to just indulge in at a restaurant (manti, I'm looking at you!)
I'm building a house right now with a sort of sun room area, and I really want to get into indoor gardening, especially working with succulents. Also "indoor gardening" when the time comes.
I wouldn't say BJJ is a hobby quite yet. It's something that I do because I'm a pussy and it's making me less of a pussy. Maybe one day I'll actually enjoy it but for now it's serving its purpose.
I used to do a lot of embroidery and quilting, but lately I just haven't been super interested in those things, and that's fine.
