people talking about the takedowns and the lack of them leading to anything -

you have no idea how that weighed on the judges scorecards, just because Jon mentioned it in the post fight interview doesn't means thats why he won the rounds

i think jon won mostly because he was the guy who was advancing most of the time and pressuring dominick and he was the fresher fighter

the 3rd round was iffy for me but like I said it was a very close fight and that 49-46 is just terrible judging and i'm glad cruz called him out on it lol

It would completely change the sport, possibly for the worse.

If a guy knows for sure he's up 2 rounds, he'll just go into a defensive shell in the 3rd and stall out the round for the guaranteed win. Why engage and risk losing? Then again, the other guy will be head hunting looking for a knockout, so maybe that's entertaining?

Couldnt have said it better. I am done watching the ufc its a joke and has been this corrupt for too long now.

Reyes walked down jones and hammered him. Any take down he suffered he literally got right back up.

Latifi beat the brakes off lewis and took him down at will and still lost.

And dont even mention the other fights

AND THATS JUST TONIGHTS CORRUPTION.

Nothing left to see but watch cash cows sadly.

No real fights. No real sports. This may as well be the WWE

Latifi took him down. I’ll give you that. He did a good job of holding him there. Then landing a few body shots that seemed completely harmless and the only intent behind them was to give the appearance of “working” so he could maintain the position. But “beat the brakes” off Lewis? Did he have any legitimate significant strike?
