With Target Sports ammo prime I get it for $35 cheaper. So it only takes 3 cases of 1k rounds to offset the cost of ammo prime.

Once my house sells I'm going to put in an order for at least 10k of lawman, maybe 20k, we'll see. Probably at least 4 or 5k of wolf gold as well.
Everyone just needs to start reloading. If you're going through 1000rd cases I can't imagine buying factory ammo anymore. Have a stash of cheap steel case stuff for SHTF and then some backup boxes of carry ammo factory. Apart from that it seems silly now.

How much $ to load 1k rounds of 9mm that's at least as good quality as the Speer Lawman? Like $100? So I save $65 but it takes like 3 hours of time, at least, for case prep and loading on a Dillon 650?

It's way more cost effective than that.

If you buy coated bullets like Acme, Blue or Gallant, you can get your total cost per round under 9 cents. So $90 per thousand.

More importantly, you can tailor what you're loading. You can load 124g flat point projectiles and use a fast powder like Titegroup. You end up with ammo that 1) recoils WAY less than factory 115g, 2) will do more damage than round nose in a SHTF scenario where you're needing hundreds of rounds, and 3) is way cheaper and easily stockpiled as raw components. You can load all hollow points for around another 1.5 cents per round. So $115 per thousand.

Thats just 9mm. I'm getting into 45 reloading and the cost is just nuts. Like 14 cents per round- like 40% the cost of factory.

On my 650 I'm making around 600 rounds per hour. Case prep is nothing. You toss 500 rounds in a tumbler and walk away until it's done. Filling primer tubes is a little pain, but if you buy multiple tubes, you can fill them watching TV and have them all set for when you're actually going to get to loading.

If it takes me longer than an hour I'm losing money to reload vs buy factory. I could just work another hour and more than make up the difference.

Got all my labs back today. Pretty happy with myself brahs. Got my cholesterol down and my vitamins, CoQ10, and Omega chits I was low on up. But my liver ALT levels are slightly high. She said she thinks I just need to stop being a fat ass and lose another 15-20lbs because it's probably fat putting stress on my liver. (Currently at 233lbs.) If losing weight doesn't get the levels down it could be something potentially more serious which has me kinda concerned.

Normal ALT levels are 7-56 units/liter. Mine is 63. From all I'm reading, it doesn't seem like anything to be overly cornered about until its like 5-10X normal. Hopefully I lose more weight and it gets back into normal range.

MP5s are the tits. I'm glad PSA is making one for the poors out there

Edit: I've never really wanted a red dot on a pistol but I think I'm gonna pick up one of those PSA dagr's with the threaded barrel and cut slide for $350 when they come out next month

At some point I'm going to own an MP5, whether HK or clone, and I'm going to put a binary trigger in it and there's nothing any of you can do to stop me.

Don't let your dreams be dreams man. The PSA version comes out in October if you're brave enough to get the gen 1

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to be first in line to pick them up or anything. I'll let someone else work out all the kinks, or confirm there are none, and jump in when we know they're right.

In other news.. I don't think I've showed this pic yet. But this doesn't even have 50 rounds through it yet and already looks like this. Fukin Sig Sour. I'm taking this P365 XL to one of the pistol courses I'm doing. They are high volume courses (700 rounds in 1 day) and I want to see if it'll break (will be bringing my glack 19 as a back up)

Is that the P365 XL? Or the P365?

No primer smear on the XL, or striker issues.

must be same Barrel finish from India?

Actually strike that, My (now fixed) P365 had absolutely zero barrel wear and that is well over 1500 rounds now.

I ordered a stealth gear holster for black friday when it was the 30%+ off. Dumbass ordered for the wrong model gun (gen1 MP not 2.0). Returned it right away after receiving to exchange. Just got the exchanged correct one in today.

Still beat a bunch of Geissele orders lol
