They used to have aggressive styling and turbo powerplants making them faster than a corvette.

If anything torque figures sell more cars nowadays.

horsepower=torqueXrpm/5252

The torque gets included in the horsepower calculation.

Horsepower is what matters and the car with the highest HP at the highest RPM will win the straight line race. Strictly speaking different engines in the same vehicle.



The Z revs out to 7500 rpm, while most vettes and stangs only hit like 6500. Throw in a turbo and it's handing out some srs L's.

The fact that you need 700wheel for you to enjoy your car says alot.

If you can appreciate a car with 300wheel you have an engineering beast. Anyone can add more horsepower to any car through forced induction. Getting the fundamentals and engineering right is an important figure many overlook.

it's a little dated, but overall not bad cars

you're not going to win drag races with naturally aspirated ones if you're into that kind of a thing, but they're a lot of fun at the track

It also was nearly 2 sec faster stock in the 1/4 than Nissan's early 00s engineering marvel, and the handling isn't even close, especially with magneride.
