“Don’t pay off your mortgage, invest and make a higher return than your interest rate “ they said
Seriously though, might pull out my case, take the hit, ride it down, and then try to time getting back in
Don’t need it for another 4 years or so. And then only 1/10th of it then

Not a good time to start buying.
As always, when dealing with large market drops/corrections -wait for the first sign of prices building a base, then there should be a move back up -then thats where large Institutionals go back in and push it down further.
Liquidity - thats what the big boys are chasing.
Double tops, and double bottoms. Watch for the signs.

Not bond funds run by some wall street investment group. Actual, physical, individual bonds. You buy them, you collect a fixed interest rate and you hold them to maturity then they pay you back your principle.
I have built my entire retirement around bonds, reinvesting the dividends and buying back in when the bonds mature.

Will likely go 10-15% bonds in about 15 years or so.

But was watching the WHO etc talks with POTUS (check whitehouse youtube channel) just updating everyone on it all and had some of our top professionals speaking on it
The lady said it would take roughly a year to a year and a half to push the cure to production due to test groups and and like 3 months to prove effectiveness and other crap like that. watch the video for more specifics if you care but that was the meat of it. 1 to 1.5 years

In these situations the decision is never easy, but the old rule"don't catch a falling knife"is usually good advice. Just think of all the people who have been trying to catch the knife all week.
As some have already said, it's better to wait for some kind of confirmation that a bounce might happen instead of yoloing in.
Right now the price is kind of in an area of possible support, but it really isn't too obvious. If it bounces here, it will only be obvious in hindsight.

Looking at the chart, if you absolutely feel the fomo of wanting to catch a knife because you feel like this is only a short lived correction: it would still be better to wait for the price to reach the red dotted line, which has at least provided a good level of support these past years. If the price rushes through that level too, well, then the situation is probably much worse than you thought.

Seems a lot of other people had my idea to go in big this afternoon. I expected a sharp selloff into the close which I was going to buy into. Instead it "rallied." Interesting. Monday should be a moderately up day like 300-400 points.

I already bought $6000 of VTI and VGT on the way down. I've got another $6000 in my money market account waiting to go in. Gonna hold off and reevaluate next week.

Buying Monday AM most likely, 1/3 of the investment capital in reserve.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.

Im generally a person who likes to come in early during a pullback...however we havent even seen the effects of this hitting the US ..: school closures, employees missing work, event cancellations ..all of this will mute consumer spending, which has been keeping this economy pumping. 20% correction ..we might see a retest, but i see a more sever reaction in upcoming months. Dont sell S&P, but might be a good idea to sell small cap equities.

Anyone have thoughts on the last 15 minute spike today? Short sellers covering before the weekend? I bought a little today but was holding out for where I thought it would tank either the last few minutes, or next week.
