She’s not helpless, it’s just been a very stressful week. A lot of change. I talked to her neighbor who was buddies with dad, he’s looking after it when I’m not there.

glad to hear it, family/friends are much better to rely on anyway. its understandable her mind would be elsewhere too. i remember seeing dementia set in with my grandmother and there was no way she could have taken care of herself. im glad your mother is not in that state.

yea, that doesnt help at all. even a typical work day combined with a lifting routine results in lack of sleep. i feel like coming home from work and going to bed at 5:30 is living life to the fullest.

Seeing all the panic buying now, kind of annoying. Family laughed at me for having a 25 year shelf life, 4 week supply of emergency food (in case of fires or earthquake), and now they are trying to buy some too just in case.

Doubt it will get that bad, but seeing people strip shelves now has me more worried about supply chains keeping up more than an actual production shortage.

My Brother is a regional manager at Dollar Tree and they can't keep up at all, all sanitation supplies are long gone and canned food is about to follow. They had people coming in and buying all the hand sanitizer then just reselling it for more.

No one is buying **** here in Louisiana. Water, canned goods, etc all have fully stocked shelves. It's like people think if they ignore it and don't talk about it, it will go away.

Saw a $200 charge from Lowe’s yesterday. Was wondering what the wife got. Woke up this morning and there’s like 12 cans of Lysol and 6 bottles of Lysol wipes on the table and like 2 dozen paper towels. I’m like wtf?

People are really starting to go potato up here. There was literally not a single roll of TP to be had at Sam's yesterday. Water bottle supply was greatly diminished over normal. And you can't find hand sanitizer anywhere I've been. So if you didn't have any before, you will have a hard time getting it now around here.

Sup ya boomers? took a heaping skoopa skoopa of Zzzquil last night at midnight, after binge playing Nier:Automata for the first time ever (Been out for like 4 years, wtf) . any of you ever buy from warriorpoet? bought one of the backpacks to start using as a "go bag" of sorts about a week ago now, and still hasn't shipped. you get a confirmation at checkout, and again in an email stating "All orders have 2 week window from the purchase date for order processing, creation, and fulfillment, with exception of double belt rigs. Did some accessory chest training today in the gym.
Hooked up 3 45s to my waist for a few single rep dips and worked the way down and did TUT on various other excercises for the remainder, followed by a 5:45 mile run. Then washed down with a Strawberry blueberry activator, 2 scoops of gladiator protein, and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter all into a 32 oz smoothie.

Did a little yard work on an absolutely beautiful Rocky Mountain day. Sun shining, the slightest of breezes blowing and just a hint of clouds drifting in a sea of blue. After I was done, I went to the beer fridge, grabbed a spankin' new, ice-cold Banquet beer . . . plopped myself on the porch swing, toasted your dad and you, and just took in the spectacular day as I satisfyingly sipped on the rest. Couldn't have asked for a better day to have a beer on the porch.

When the Flint water shenanigans was fresh, puff daddy/sean combs/etc donated a bunch of bottled water. Once people found out it was puff daddy water they started taking it and then selling it for $3/bottle.

went into my FFL today and picked up the gen 4 glock and 2 Aero lowers. these gen 4 glocks have really grown on me.

was going to buy more 9mm ammo too but apparently they started charging more for it so i decided id just wait and buy online. its going to be nice when we get through november and trump takes his 2nd term. hopefully he wont fuk with guns and wel all have another 4 years of good prices.

im probably going to have to get at least 2 more spikes 5.56 lowers and build more ARs
