My main concern is really availability, not stock on hand. If I shoot a box of centerfire a week (I can shoot in my yard, so I typically shoot roughly that just on maintenance drills) that's 2.5 cases assuming I skip a couple weeks, shoot more one week and less the next, etc.
Assuming 3 cases a year (because you're taking a class or two right), 12k rounds centerfire, 12k pistol is a decent stash to have on hand assuming you won't be able to buy ammo for a full election cycle.

I got my Geissele super duty 11.5" upper, its tst
Measured from end of buffer tube to the end of the rail and its 24 and 15/16 inches. It's hard to tell where the exact end of the muzzle threads are (because theres a surefire flash hider attached), but it looks like it's going to be within like 1/8 of an inch +/- of 26"... either way idc because I never liked angled or vfg. Just got a BCM kag "handstop" which I'm pretty sure is g2g

I need someone to clear something up for me
Recently did a shooting session at the gun range with a 22. ruger (barely any recoil) yet all my shots seem to be going higher and above the intended target. I was always aiming centre-mass directly in the middle of the final black circle yet I'm not entirely sure why my shots keep going higher then intended. Bare in mind, I do only do one shooting session every 2 months due to my current location and circumstances. Will also add picture of target when I'm back home.

That was my second climb, crazy how much has changed since then.
Never tried them but I'm a big MH fanboy. Use them almost exclusively on all of my trips.
It started out great. Even the last season was decent but the ending was a major let down.

What distance were you shooting? Misses are magnified with distance with improper sight alignment

I was also aiming centremass and not sure if that's also the reason why my shots were going above target. Still trying to figure it all out, if I went occasionally I would have perfected it by now but due to the fact that I can't do it alot, it's taking time to improve sight alignment.

Random observation: There have been military lookin' helicopters going around the last few days. This is an increase from the usual none, but not the first time there has been an uptick in their presence for no known-to-us reason

Below might be a good watch, too. But it all starts with getting your stance, grip (are you using 2 thumbs forward grip?), sight picture, etc on point. 22 should be pretty forgiving since it's really low recoil, but you may still be anticipating the shot or something and having the muzzle rise. If you can get someone to take some video while you shoot, especially from a side view as much as possible, that would help you see what you are doing.
25 meters is pretty far to try and correct aim with a handgun. Get that target a ton closer (like 5 m or even less), be very slow and deliberate with each shot and really try to get your aim and point of impact nailed down. When you can get a really consistent group move it back just a little and do it again. Rinse, repeat.

BTW, in case anyone was as ignorant as I was, the sling loop on a Magpul SL/SL-K stock is also an MLOK slot that accepts a QD socket.

I see what you mean (after a search) on the SL-K, you can attach an mlok style QD mount to the sling loop slot. I did not know that. Pretty smart design.

A good TP supply is like mag capacity.
How much TP do you really need? One more roll than the other guy has.
