stuff is so cheap. I have two big bottles. I should be good until this virus stuff gets sorted out.
On VIW I get about average performance I'd say. Certainly not bad by any means. You'll enjoy the performance of Light blue intense for sure tho. That one just jumps off skin.

I never tried that one. The only AF's I've tried are King Tut, Wasted Moment, Hawaii Volcano, Black Phantom Clone, and Amber Aoud Clone (both I forgot the names for)

Preparing for spring now so debating if I should take the more reserved but respectable Tom Ford Grey Vetiver route or hit the wallet a bit for a decant of Roja Vetiver Extrait or Boadicea's equally amazing Vetiver Imperiale.
I would stick with Grey Vetiver if i were in your shoes since you like it, easy to find, relatively cheap compared to the other two.

Nah bro that was someone else. Only one I've tried was grey vetiver from a sample and I really enjoyed it. The sample was pretty much donezo when I checked this morning but I'll get a bottle anytime I come across one. It's a great work scent, quite professional smelling but also as you said a little playful.

Yes I've a sample of this and would buy if I didn't already own the original. I think this one is pretty good and here's my summary of a comparison.

- with Hawaii Volcano there's a stronger lime note and it smells sweeter
- VIW, because of the less lime you smell more of that coconut
- VIW smells more boozy which to me makes it sexier
- On drydown they start smelling closer
- I get average performance on VIW and above average on Hawaii Volcano
- For the price I'd say this clone is worth it. I do get a lower quality than VIW but it's much less than in other clones.

Also as a side note. The Hawaii Volcano Intense that they also sell, isn't an intense version of Hawaii Volcano. It's just a sweeter and more feminine version. I'd suggest you stick to the normal HV.


Only 2 clones from Alexandria I was able to compare to the original and feel like the original didn't completely win by a mile. Those were Hawaii Volcano and Glacier (Creed Pure White Cologne). That Creed is a simple but really crisp and beautiful freshie that is twice the price of Aventus. Alexandra's Glacier gets really darn close for a fraction of the cost. Win.

Maybe it's a climate thing but here where it's almost always sunny I get a full work day with VIW. By the end of work it's not screaming off my skin but I definitely don't have to "search" for the scent nom sayin. The clone for this one is dope though, almost as sexy and not beast mode but certainly some improvement in performance for sure.

Bro, I have never tried black orchid lol. I'm sure I'll recognize the scent, I feel like I've heard ladies talking about wearing this before. From reading up I'm seeing here it's one of those daring scents which I'm trying to avoid a little because of my weather.

Have you tried TF Noir Extreme? I remember giving that a brief test and was quite impressed. Definitely need to revisit someday.

Yeah Black Orchid is polarizing to say the least. Listed as feminine but a lot of dudes wear it or try to. I like that darker stuff quite a lot.

Noir Extreme? I have a full bottle of it. Girl got it for me. I want Noir de Noir one day. Loved that one too.

Take the original BR540 and dilute it in some petroleum jelly and you get interplay. If it's now your chick's scent and you'll never wear it again, forget interplay and add in Retro Flare Silver (MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver).



It's one of the best clones they have simply because the original is amazing. Absolute stunner of a scent, papillo can attest to this (the OG)

Also as a side note. The Hawaii Volcano Intense that they also sell, isn't an intense version of Hawaii Volcano. It's just a sweeter and more feminine version. I'd suggest you stick to the normal HV.


Only 2 clones from Alexandria I was able to compare to the original and feel like the original didn't completely win by a mile. Those were Hawaii Volcano and Glacier (Creed Pure White Cologne). That Creed is a simple but really crisp and beautiful freshie that is twice the price of Aventus. Alexandra's Glacier gets really darn close for a fraction of the cost. Win.
Nice. I really dig VIW....but i would wear it so little it's hard to justify the creed price to me.

And i was wondering about the intense, if it would be more potent, but if it's just more feminine, nah im good.
