I don't. Very basic, generic scent. But others love it.

I always recommend getting samples first. You can save yourself a lot of money that way.

This. It's so easy to get a hold of decants these days that it makes sense to buy that firs. One guy on reddit ive consistently gotten stuff from has had as much as 250 in the past.

Thanks for all the input fellas, appreciate it. Got a sample of eau extreme today, both the wife and I like it. At the price I can get I’ll probably pull the trigger. Haven’t paid for a new frag since the summer

I'm with Charles on thinking CAHSEE is boring.

But if you don't already have anything like it, it's cheap, and you like it enough - no harm in grabbing it. It's an inoffensive scent.

Boring is what works in the non-fraghead aka the real world.
I have never, ever, gotten as much compliments on anything than this Chanel Allure Homme Sport EE. It's the scent I always wear on a first date because hearing "wow, what scent is that you're wearing?" never gets fuking old lol.

It may be "boring" but the quality is high, performance is high, it can smell classy on a guy in a suit or sporty in gym clothes, day or night, sweet, fresh, deep, masculine, creamy, safe...and girls don't find it boring at all. What more can you possibly want, this **** makes me feel confident as all fuk.

What you describe with CAHSEE is exactly what I get with OG Dior Homme or DHI. If I didn't have that from a frag already, I'd probably be more open to the Chanel (and maybe if the Chanel performed better on me lmao).

I have a couple different factory samples of it, can hardly smell it, even when I first spray it on.

You must have hypersensitive receptors to the scent, or parts of it. Something like Versace Man Eau Fraiche is strong af to me, all day long. But CAHSEE, and all the other Allure family are barely even noticeable to my nose.

I got the mrs and a couple of friends to have a sniff to rule that possibility out, they couldn't smell it either. My skin just doesn't like it.

Got a friend in Hawaii who really digs the stuff.

Not sure myself.

I do likeTreasure Island, but it's not a bay leaf fragrance, mostly just spices and rum. And stupid expensive (along with the "new" Barista Extrait) since they sold the company stock to the new folks.

https://www.fragrantica.com/designer...ragrances.html

They used to have just Barista Elixir, Treasure Island, and Tropical Kiss. Then they sold the company to somebody else, who promptly doubled the price on everything, and added their own super expensive concoctions to the mix. I have never tried the Barista Extrait, as it's super expensive. And not even listed on Fragrantica.

I paid 80 bucks new for Barista Elixir from their old website, new owner doubled the price for the same juice:

https://legendaryfragrances.com/

I would probably still buy it when my current bottle runs out. I still have more than half left. Best coffee fragrance I have ever tried.

The after shave of Treasure Island is super heavy bay rum. Way too much bay even.

I totally understand the intensity they were looking to capture with that, but they should have just labeled it as such.

Barista Extrait is pretty much the same, except you get a lush amount of the coffee blossom (which is an ingredient that's expensive as fauk). I do think it adds a nice touch of sophistication to the fragrance.

Noir Epices

Bought a bunch of ML vials from myperfumesamples back when they cleared out their stock. They were about $1.99 each I think. I bought $25 worth of Noir Epices and $25 dollars worth of Geranium Pour Moniseur. I later passed the luck forward by decanting them into 2ml vials and selling them for like $10 on eBay. I really regret selling the Geranium Pour Monsieur. It was such a bomb batch! The stuff was beyond nuclear. I absolutely loved wearing it in public—just like the first Gucci Sport I had. So fresh and green—and invigorating. Some lady nearly broke her neck in the store when I walked by. That Geranium Pour Monsieur was the truth! I only kept one of these ML for Noir Epices. When I first got it, the stuff was also extremely tenacious, and smelled like the epitome of a French Whoor. Strong orange, with deep black musks and black spices (clove/anise). I've had the sample about three years now and it's tamed down incredibly. Still, I've only dabbed on. This should make for a sophisticated evening.

In regards to the CAHSEE chatter.

It was my signature, and basically only cologne I used, for like 3 years. Then I got into the cologne game and bought/sold/used like 50 or 60 bottles and hundreds of samples.

Now I'm on that JPG Le Beau time. That stuff is GOLD. Somehow most of the reviewers just looked over it.
