I have yet to see a single break for bills, all thats being talked about is giving US people $1,000.companies are not gonna charge you for phone bills, heating, etc. So they are doing what they can. You cant expect thousands for free lol.

I still don't quite understand how this makes much sense though because even people in that bracket and above have monthly obligations to pay for outside of profits and will lose their jobs/business and need to pay mortgage, car payments, other bills, etc... and not all of them have savings

They won't do this because most people won't spend it which is the whole point. You got people hoarding toilet paper, you think they're spending this grand you gave them? Just lmao.

And just like that, Trump supporters are all in favor of socialism. In all seriousness, it's gonna be hard to determine a salary cutoff for this since some person who makes six figures could be unemployed at this point and truly need it to stay afloat in the short term.

Sending people checks, whether electronically or otherwise, does nothing if I can't go to the bar and spend it -- other than blowing up the deficit (the proposal for $1,000 would be over two hundred billion dollars alone!)

Not everybody is getting $1k, only those making less that $75,000. So 99% of the misc won't be getting that. Why worry about $1000 anyway?

im sure that will later be mandated to 0 people, or 5 like some countries
Loss of interaction with other businesses, most businesses dont just operate on a purely business to consumer level
Loss of income and ability to pay people for minimal "at home' work and needing to think long term damage control
I mean theres tons of reasons companies are going to start doing "lay offs"
Unless you are in the necessary medical fields or public service or grocery stores, your job security isnt too high right now. I have friends at Dell, Dentist offices, Dermatologists, nurses at private practices who have ALL been told next week is their last week of pay

Most of my close friends are all in pretty safe employment sectors so I haven't heard anything like you're describing. If you're right this is gonna make 2008 seem like a booming economy
