I can't believe the amount of people with their heads so far up their asses they still think this is just a "media panic", as if there wasn't any vested interest in pretending everything's normal or that there aren't countries in the world, liberal and dictatorial alike, that haven't suffered from the outbreak. Iran has nearly 2,000 deaths so far, some countries COVID-19 sources have been passengers from Iran and their leaders have shifted from denying it's a problem to blaming the US for spreading the virus. It's a lot easier to do nothing and shift the blame, so long as they aren't punished for letting the vulnerable population suffer and die.

Why do people even entertain these threads. OP already has stated this is all a hoax on par with climate change and thinks it is a conspiracy to influence the upcoming election. This nonsense is on par with the incels who whine about how they were Chads in highschool but are still virgins because of Tinder. Please keep getting your pandemic advice from an old man with dementia who doesn't listen to actual doctors or scientists. He's also super alpha who cucks all the beta soy boys.

While the pandemic has hit Germany with full force, with Johns Hopkins University noting 22,364 confirmed infections by Sunday morning, only 84 people are so far reported to have died.
This means Germany currently has the lowest mortality rate of the 10 countries most severely hit by the pandemic: 0.3% compared with 9% in Italy and 4.6% in the UK.
Point is, most deaths are occurring in densely populated areas, yet combined with the way we're doing tests, giving a skewed number of the 'rate'. We don't know the age affected, as well as preexisting conditions, and most people with mild symptoms are not going out to get tested.
This is why statistics can deceive
Only time will be able to tell. And if so, is it worth debilitating our economy to a pulp?

how many deaths are being attributed to the Coronavirus that weren't even caused by the Coronavirus? How accurate is the death count as it is? This whole ordeal is sketchy AF

I find it funny that the CDC extrapolates data for flu to project how many have it but not with covid. Take the number of confirmed cases in the US and times that by 10 at least. Then you might be including asymptomatic people or people with very mild symptoms

Only time will be able to tell. And if so, is it worth debilitating our economy to a pulp?[/QUOTE]
No, hence why action was needed months ago to prevent patient 1 and subsequent carriers from entering America/spreading it throughout America. There is a reason why Taiwan and other Asian countries like Singapore are still sitting at fewer cases than many American states. In the age of big data, this could have been prevented and small businesses and the economy would not have been suffering to this extent.
