You're wrong. It can remain airborn for up to 3 hours. Between 30 minutes and 3 hours is the estimated length of time that it remains contagious airborn.

Everything currently is just games for power/attention and money. All I know is I made a killing in stock market so far hopefully inflation hasn't destroyed the dollar to the point of needing new world order. When the stimilus hits inflation is going to be huge so I fear that the most.
I just want to share the knowledge I have obtained throughout my life and hopefully change someone's life.

By using the masks, you are not protecting yourself, only using that tool and taking it from healthcare workers.


Keeping your distance is more effective than a face mask, it is free, and it doesn’t take anything away from anyone else.

An N95 potentially might, but they are incredibly difficult to fit properly-even for trained medical experts & pretty much impossible to wear for any length of time. To be 100% safe you would also need to walk around wearing safety goggles that don't let anything in at the sides-it is totally impractical.

Nah, no mask to the grocery store. I just make sure to keep a 6 ft distance from people, then wash hands afterwards.

I have some masks that I have that I will likely use if I'm in scenarios where I'm in closer contact with people. Not trying to catch any spit spray while people are talking.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

i think many do not understand the concept or since it is not 100% preventative they think it's not worth it. even if it's not N95, if wearing a mask keeps you from putting your hand to your mouth or prevents some droplets from those mucuous membranes then yes you decreased exposure

You do realise people wear flimsy masks to protect from viruses & air pollution & those masks offer no protection? Anybody that you see wearing a surgical mask outside of a medical setting is a moron-as they don't stop things getting in through the very loose fitting sides. An N95 might, but as already stated they are as attested to by medical professionals very difficult to wear properly-even they have to be trained regularly to ensure they are doing it correctly & highly impractical even if you can fit them properly-very hard to breathe through, makes you sweaty & claustrophobic etc. Plus this virus can get into your eyes, so on top of this respiratory restricting, highly uncomfortable mask you would also have to be wearing some type of industrial goggles that don't leave any room for anything to get through & would then be pushing down on the mask making it even harder to breathe & even more uncomfortable.

If it makes you feel better then go for it, they aren't going to stop anything getting in because they are so loose fitting. The only reason dentists wear them is so if their nose runs or they cough it might stop it going in your mouth, they aren't protecting themselves, they are protecting you. I have the last week of so seen people wearing N95 masks in supermarkets that aren't fitted properly, surgical masks, scarfs round their mouth-it is a comfort thing like holding a teddy bear as a child. I am wearing two pairs of gloves that don't come off from when I leave the house until when I get back, for cashpoint withdrawals I have cut down a pencil & use the thick end so my gloves don't have to touch the keypad that is covered in germs of all varieties & when I have to use a crossing I push the button with my coat covered elbow-these are all easy practical things anybody can do.

the point is if the majority of the public wore masks, then the people who have the virus wouldn't be expelling as many of their respiratory droplets it into public spaces. A surgical mask is effective at stopping the good amount of the droplets from getting out.

and a r95/n95 is stopping 95% of stuff in the air even if it's not fitted to professional standards

I think if you spray it down with at least 70% rubbing alcohol that should kill anything lingering on it. That's what I've been doing.

Just make sure you let it air out for awhile before wearing it again so ur not inhaling alcohol fumes lol

Realistically they are a one & done, unless you work in a medical setting where you know how to clean them with Hydrogen Peroxide-but even there it is recommended to use a new one every day due to the risk of contamination.

Just got back from the grocery store. Had mask and gloves on. 75% of those in the store did too. No fuks given.

They don't necessarily "expire". Reason why they are not meant to be reused is that the front part of the mask can harbor the virus so when you put it back on there's a chance you get infected. Where I train at, we would use a surgical mask on top of the N95 to try to prevent that, but are now considering using aerosolized hydrogen peroxide for disinfection instead.

If it doesn't fit your face to form a total seal then it is totally useless-the chances of members of the public being able to fit them properly is negligible, as even medical professionals have issues with this. Again, even if you could then you cannot walk around in them for very long as it is impractical due to the breathing issues, them being clogged with your sweat, the tightness on your head/face etc. Please take your own advice & use common sense-the best way to protect yourself is to go out only when totally necessary, when doing so always wear two pairs of gloves, use a pencil or something similar when touching a keypad on a cashpoint, use your coat sleeve or pencil for pushing any buttons at crossings etc.
