Armaf Tres Nuit is a creamy, non bitter clone of GIT. And it's only like 20 bucks. Absolutely laughable the quality you get for the price.

MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver is one of my top freshies at the moment. It is a modern take on GIT to me. Doesn't smell like it, it just has a similar purpose. It is a slightly sweet gin and tonic scent floating on a bed of musks. Absolutely beautiful, and the juniper berry note is done really well. Papillo put me on to this, and as far as I know it's one of his faves as well.

I think in the last thread I was badmouthing Virgin Island Water a bit.

I take it all back. I haven’t worn it since last summer so I don’t know if something magically changed in the sampler I have but its amazing and performs like a beast. Maybe it’s just my brain craving anything summer-like

Yeah I'm pretty sure the people who say this "disappears" in 2 hours are just going anosmic to it. I can still smell it on me just fine after a full work session. It's not beastly but it's not a bad performer by any means. Maybe your nose just adjusted due to the conditions around you and was able to tune into it better this time. This is my favorite Creed.
